Per Shefty - Bills “expected to lose” Poyer and Edmunds
Andrew Son replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall
Then the point becomes that it's a poor 1st round pick -
I don't see it, don't like the way he moves. Looks like he's always ready to fall over when he has the ball in his hands.

Regardless, he's young enough were you could structure the contract anyway you like to manage the cap hit. I thought for sure Beane was going to practice what he preaches with drafting and paying his own. For all the positive talk they would always provide the media on Tremaine, this action speaks the loudest. -

I agree, and it seems like the Bills do too. -

Pretty big indictment on Tremaine. Beane talks constantly about drafting and retaining. But they are going to let a 24 y/o first round pick team captain walk without giving him a second contract?- 256 replies

If one of those two fall it's an absolute no-brainier. They know how to play football, I couldn't care less about timed speed.

What exactly are Addison and JSN being knocked for? Lack of high end athleticism? All those dudes do is get open. I can see the question marks with Hyatt, Johnston, and Flowers though I still like them. Personally, I would like one of those receivers above or one of the top TE's (I like Mayer/Washington/Kincaid) at 27.

Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
Andrew Son replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. We had a chance to double dip and actually lead coming out of the half. o repeatedly failed scoring 10 points. -
Wow, you must be fabulously middle class if you pay that much in taxes. Everyone knows the truly wealthy pay very little in taxes.

Did you ever go to school with anyone famous?

Clint Hurtt, current Seahawks DC was a few years ahead of me in HS. He was a monster. Injuries derailed his playing career at the U, it's been cool to see his coaching career advance. -
To some degree. Did the Pats* just get lucky for seemingly 20 straight years? Now it’s the Chiefs with like five straight conference championship appearances, three SB appearances and two titles. Are they just getting lucky every year now?

If they were going to make a change they would have by now.

Look out for this potential signing- Jonathan Owens, S Bio: 27, 5’11, Missouri West, undrafted and signed by the Texans in 2021 for a two year, $1.2M contract 2022 Stats: 17 game, 125 tackles, 1 sack, 4 passes defended. Keep or Release: Keep. Owens played the third most defensive snaps behind Christian Kirksey and Jalen Pitre. The husband to Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles also was second on the team in tackles. He was one of the most valuable players on the defense at just above $1M and would be inclined to sign a negotiated contract to stay in Houston. Whoever takes over for the defense will have a huge say, but at the right price Owens should stay. https://www.battleredblog.com/2023/1/24/23556551/houston-texans-2022-free-agent-evaluation

The misuse of Cook and Hines was borderline criminal
Andrew Son replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Clearly some sort of disconnect with how aggressively Beane went after pass catching backs- from McKissic to Cook and Hines- and then their eventual use. You could hear some annoyance from Beane yesterday about the Hines situation. -
A new hire would certainly run a similar scheme, that's McD's style, he's not all of a sudden going 3-4. Seems like the play calling is more of the issue- and a lack of aggressiveness.

QB "talent" for me is always hard to quantify. How would you compare Josh vs. Brady talent wise?

How does Josh's athleticism compare to Tom Brady?
