  1. Ah yes, I'm sure a little banter about his biggest professional failure would be a real knee slapper.
  2. Their top FA addition was on the offensive side of the ball as well as the majority of the FA additions in general, to go along with the top two draft picks. Offense was the priority this offseason, it was not half-hearted. Now you've moved your criticism goalposts from "they don't invest in the offense" to "I don't like who they invested in."
  3. LOL, would you say this offseason was more focused on defensive acquisitions?
  4. I'm obviously more speaking to his entire body of work.
  5. lol, are you really going to dig in arguing the character of Kadarius Toney???
  6. Very true. Just another KC scumbag, nothing unusual here.
  7. I mean there is a major difference in that something hasn't come along to make food and drink obsolete.
  8. This seems to be the popular sentiment but I'm not going to assume, had McDermmot said something else, that the media was going to be like- "oh, ok, nothing to this Diggs story then. No need to ask any players about it." It certainly wasn't a smart statement, and the press clearly ran with it, but this situation (going back to how last year ended) with your superstar captain is going to be a story regardless.
  9. It's been beaten to death but KC last year is questionable
  10. Certainly not disputing that, I'm not saying that Allen doesn't elevate those around him. Just questioning the prevailing talking point that it's necessary to load up on multiple high end targets.
  11. Sure, but isn't part of having an elite QB his ability to elevate those around him? I mean look at what Brady did in NE all those years
  12. Just keep getting to the tournament. The ball bounces funny in a single elimination tournament and the better team doesn't always win.
  13. I know, look at our horrific offense and the giant trade he pulled of for one of the leagues best WR's...
  14. There are so many conclusions being made that are revisionist based on results. Had we won that game, which obviously could have went either way, are the Chiefs the one with the problems considering we've beaten them the last two regular season games and the one previous to that?
  15. Yeah, I'd say a borderline top 10 TE and a first round pick at the position SHOULD be a top 5 duo.
  16. I'll be surprised if he's not elite again. It's not like he ever won on pure athleticism anyways. Looks to me like we have 4 legitimate outside corners which is a great problem to have.
  17. We've hedged those issues a bit with the signing of Rapp and Floyd. I expect Tre to be much better this year.
  18. LOL, there is a wide chasm between relying heavily on the RB and taking the occasional checkdown when it's there. Jerick McKinnon had 71 targets, that seemed to work out ok...
