  1. Jones rushed for over 700 yards last year which is more than Tyrod ever did in his career
  2. Jeudy has amassed his pedestrian production with all the opportunity in the world as the supposed #1 option. Jeudy is obviously very talented, as shown by his draft position, but something doesn't seem right there. My guess is that he doesn't have the intangibles to be great. Maybe he thrives with a change of scenery, who knows, but for better or worse he doesn't strike me as the type of guy the Bills will take a shot on. Sutton just doesn't separate very well at all. He can make some nice contested catches, but he better because they are all contested.
  3. Did Denver really call TO so they could punt?
  4. You're just not appreciating the genius that is Sean Payton.
  5. I'm getting visions of last year. We went all-in on pass catching RB's- tried to sign McKissic, signed Duke Johnson, drafted Cook, traded for Hines. We were even rumored to be in on trading for McCaffery. All of this to never throw to the backs. Now this year it's all about the TE. Knox has a nice contract and we draft a first round TE to go along with him. All this talk of 12 personnel and the mismatches it will produce. Again, all to never throw to the TE's. There seems to be a major disconnect between player acquisition and player usage-especially on offense. You would think that Dorsey would be communicating with Beane on the groceries to buy.
  6. For sure. But I think the guys are out there, they are just under valued. There is benefit in being stout and controlling the LOS even if you have limited pass rush ability. The NFL does not seem to value that.
  7. Isn’t the conventional wisdom that it’s not too hard to find a pure 1T? Just a space eater keep LB’s clean and eat up blocks. The dynamic interior pass rushers are the more unique skill set. i can’t figure out why we struggle to roster sufficient beef at the position.
  8. Health is always going to be the concern with this guy, he's just so tiny.
  9. The simple point is that our fully intact offense needed to pickup our undermanned defense. They did not.
  10. The problem with our offense is consistency, and it's a fatal flaw IMO. By the end of the year it will be ranked very high but the ride there will be a rollercoaster with several duds mixed in. That type of variance is not the way to get through a single elimination tournament. One dud and we're going home.
  11. Pectoral. McD said "it doesn't look good" so I'm assuming a tear and he's out for the year.
  12. The other deep one to Diggs was just as bad. Good shot at the go ahead TD if Diggs didn't have to stop and wait for it.
  13. Even with the injuries the D more than held their own today. This D should be 5-0. We lose when our offense sucks, which unfortunately happens too frequently. They are just wildly inconsistent and that ultimately is our undoing.
  14. I believe the last thing was the high ankle sprain that impacted him most of last year.
  15. He seems to get banged up often. Might be that long lanky build, hope it's not a continuing trend.
  16. Imagine if Travis took the day off for every child birth, he'd never practice!
  17. Fair enough. I understand that many enjoy what you describe as a hobby. I just think we often go too far making definitive proclamations.
  18. Yes, I know it's crazy, but I generally develop an opinion once I actually have something to observe.
  19. I had no idea. I don't pretend to know more than the paid professional decision makers. All I knew was that he was a third round pick of this regime. It's about as useless as immediate draft grades. We'll see when we see.
  20. It's amusing that while listening to the press conferences we don't seem to have the technology to be able to hear the questions asked, yet something like this was crystal clear.
