Why can people not seperate the fact that the refs screwed us, and most likely cost us the game, from other mistakes that were self inflicted?
So, I guess if you make any other mistake, you're not allowed to mention the atrocious missed calls?
We have not done a good job throughout the years, not just with Whaley, in investing in the QB position. It is the number 1 reason for the streak. Take a look at the lack of early round picks spent on the position.
Not right now, but we did miss Dareus and Shaq for significant time. Ragland for the year as well.
That combined with Aaron is significant, it's a good amount of our most talented players on D
The only argument, I can see, for the move is as a juxtaposition with the current coach. Sometimes players respond to a change from a "players" coach to a disciplinarian, or vice versa. Or at least that's the common thought.
Count me as one that would be very concerned with his age.
