  1. He’s fine now. But that’s just how he plays. He’s never going to be a pinpoint, timing based distributor. I remember last year when we had that rough stretch and Josh was focusing on playing from the pocket. Everyone was crying “free Josh!” “They’ve neutered him!!!” He’s simply more effective when he mixes it up a bit. Yes, I wish he would protect himself a bit more, but this is what we have.
  2. Unfortunately it’s more his play style than something he does out of necessity.
  3. It's interesting seeing different QB's from the same team. For example, Dalton and Young. Those receivers seem to separate a lot better for Andy!
  4. But would you take +225???
  5. Torrell Troupe
  6. lol, oh god.
  7. Timing is weird, you'd think there would be corresponding move.
  8. lol, this thread is the best
  9. But you'd have no picks left because you gave them all up in every other trade thread over the past several years
  10. Isn't he hurt? Big name but not sure he's currently the same guy
  11. I've heard a couple of people say that. Wasn't Kincaid wide open and at the sideline? I saw it as he would have just easily ran OB. He threw quite a few at receivers feet today.
  12. I’m sure we’ll get clarity on the injury in McDermotts presser
  13. Must just be something he's been dealing with that they want to clean up. One of the benefits of being in such a strong position within the division, we can be really conservative with injuries.
  14. I just re-watched and he was in through the last defensive snap.
  15. It is certainly not good speed for a DB. You say he had good speed and Hamlin is slow. What was Hamlin’s 40?
  16. Johnson was incredibly slow
  17. Underrated player IMO. I really enjoy the 6 man line.
  18. Philosophically I believe in more balance. in previous years our one dimensional high flying offense has been fun. We’ve scored a bunch of points and won a lot of regular season games. But come playoff time when things get tight and refs swallow their whistles it becomes easier to slow down our one dimensional approach. I believe that’s when balance will pay dividends and allow us to win in more than one way. We at least need a change up.
  19. Maybe so but we currently have the 2nd best point differential and that includes a blowout loss, so I don’t imagine the game scripts are conducive to rushing stats so far. I think our rushing attack will rank much higher by year’s end. And having more of a passing threat will only help that.
  20. Those numbers surprise me. I would guess that is influenced by late running in blowouts
  21. I agree. I'm just talking overall stylistically. We have physical outside guys and will probably roll coverage overtop as well. But a guy like JSN, they can manufacture touches and scheme him up against our backers over the middle. That seems to be the best way to attack us.
  22. I'm more worried about JSN actually. We seem to matchup better against big outside guys with our personnel than the smaller, shifty, separator types that find soft spots in our zones.
  23. This team has a hell of a running game with three capable backs. This going to play dividends in the postseason. Previously our one dimensional attack was built to rack up regular season stats/wins. But I like this build for postseason success.
  24. Luckily the Chiefs are not a real threat. They have no #1 WR, I hear that’s important.
