  1. Rams are taking the Whaley approach. We'll see if it works out for them
  2. Didn't know you were so high on Sammy and the 2017 season...
  3. Bump This will probably be a popular thread this year with all the picks
  4. If Sammy stays relatively healthy from here on out it's a TERRIBLE trade. Performance is not the bet. The bet is can he stay healthy. We'll see how it plays out
  5. Half of the people on this board don't meet that criteria!
  6. Maybe they can sign Method Man
  7. Tolbert had no chance on that play
  8. With great feet and quickness as well! Interesting player for sure. Will be a fan favorite.
  9. The hyperbole on our o-line is out of control. We have the same starting unit coming back from last years top rushing unit. We lost Kujo as depth and added Dawkins
  10. I've never seen such amazing unity on a topic!
  11. Please. Except when you're trumpeting your "superior" views? With comments like- "I, as well as anyone that knows what they are seeing, think this" in response to other "fans" views. I have been here for nearly 20 years myself, not all with this current account. You add valuable perspective and football content, but your holier than thou attitude and inability to admit being wrong, rubs people the wrong way.
  12. And then there are the rational, highly accurate, prognosticators- like Badol
  13. Yes, accuracy is very important. But at this point, first ever preseason game, I find it hard to quantify. Is he fully in sync with his WR's yet? Maybe he threw the ball right where he wanted to but the receiver wasn't exactly where he expected? Ran a route at a slightly different depth? At this point I'm much more concerned with how he looks out there. His command of the offense. How he calls the plays, gets guys lined up. HIs poise, pocket presence, and decisiveness. Stuff like that.
  14. Yes, crazier things have happened than a first round quarterback developing into a quality starter.
  15. I can see how that comment can seem offensive if a poster was unaware of the running joke on here. Kirby did a great job of explaining it
  16. I was VERY impressed with Watson. Yes, he missed some throws, but his command of the offense was impressive. Running a hurry up two minute drill in his first game? Seemed to have a real good feel for pressure, and kept his eyes downfield while he was moving around extending plays. Looked good to me.
  17. I don't know, we have some depth there. Maybe Hodges steps up? Or Ragland? Or one of the rookies?
  18. I think the uproar was more over the thread title, than the prediction itself
  19. Try starting a thread on this instead. I'm done threads usually go over well
  20. A 60 catch season for over 800 yards is not much better than nothing? Ok
  21. Of course it's not simple. But, IMO, a physical approach at the line is better than playing off. Try to disrupt the timing and create pressure up the middle. Having the horses up front is the key
  22. The point is that he had one solid season in the league. 60 catches for 800+ yards is a solid season. It is not nothing. Simple stuff. And my question was more based on said posters body of work, not just this one topic.
