Please. Except when you're trumpeting your "superior" views? With comments like- "I, as well as anyone that knows what they are seeing, think this" in response to other "fans" views. I have been here for nearly 20 years myself, not all with this current account. You add valuable perspective and football content, but your holier than thou attitude and inability to admit being wrong, rubs people the wrong way.

Yes, accuracy is very important. But at this point, first ever preseason game, I find it hard to quantify. Is he fully in sync with his WR's yet? Maybe he threw the ball right where he wanted to but the receiver wasn't exactly where he expected? Ran a route at a slightly different depth? At this point I'm much more concerned with how he looks out there. His command of the offense. How he calls the plays, gets guys lined up. HIs poise, pocket presence, and decisiveness. Stuff like that.

Yes, crazier things have happened than a first round quarterback developing into a quality starter.

I was VERY impressed with Watson. Yes, he missed some throws, but his command of the offense was impressive. Running a hurry up two minute drill in his first game? Seemed to have a real good feel for pressure, and kept his eyes downfield while he was moving around extending plays. Looked good to me.

What does that have to do with- "has done nothing in this league?"

Lots of things I'm interested in this year- 1. Poyer- Will he be an effective starter? I think this is an overlooked aspect of the offseason. We are counting on a complete unknown. 2. Dawkins- Can he push Mills? 3. Zay- Is he going to be able to step right in as the #2 as a rookie? 4. Shaq- Poised for a breakout? 5. Logan Thomas- Do we have anything here? 6. How will the LB's shake out? 7. Jonathan Williams- Ready to emerge as a solid backup? And, obviously, how does Tyrod look? Any difference playing in this scheme? Get the ball out quicker? Take more chances?

Coach him up all you want. If he tries to go man on Sammy he'll get embarrassed.
