We got screwed by the broadcast on that challenge. Normally there is a replay but they went to a "game break" instead there.

The point is that you don't need to drop a dime on the deep shots. Loft it up and let the WR track and adjust. Much more difficult to be pinpoint with ropes deep down the field.

Before Allen have you ever heard of a QB with too strong of an arm for a deep ball? Seems like a relatively simple fix just to use more loft

Completely agree with resting players with the bye coming up and our overall advantageous situation. My concern is more macro with Cooper. Maybe it's his unique personality that rubs people the wrong way but no one has ever accused him of being "all ball." You'd like to see a little more energy out of the guy and drive to compete. It's probably why he's bounced around, not really a guy you want to build a locker room around. But, he fills a massive need and hopefully will be the piece we need down the stretch.

But what to you make of McD's strange commentary around the issue? He's not really one to say anything that could be viewed in a way to create this perception. That's what makes me scratch my head.

I think the problem is more of the decision to actually invest in Jones as the future.

I don't have great feelings about this guy. It's rare you get comments from McD that can be viewed as critical of a player. I think it's clear that Cooper is a different kind of guy, it's probably why he's bounced around. I don't see him has having that Bills "DNA." I know some have speculated that we extend him beyond this year but I don't see that as a fit. Hopefully this is just a blip and he gets us where we need to go this year.
