  1. Up against the background of the total s**t show transpiring in this country, this is barely registering with me. Oh, another Pats Super Bowl win. Well, I guess that sucks. And now back to my country falling apart at the seams. Sorry, kids.......
  2. Was going to say the same thing. Also Lucy, Daughter of the Devil and the most recent incarnation of The Muppet Show. That's brutal
  3. That seems fair. I'm also good with kneecapping Brady if we do find one and need to get by them in the playoffs. Something like Kimo VonOlhoffen did to Carson Palmer in that Steelers-Bengals playoff game years ago.
  4. But I'm guessing you aren't one of the most important contracted employees with a contract option worth tens of millions of dollars.
  5. Not sure where you see 4.62. Everything I see is that he ran a 4.72 forty. That's actually not that great as 4.8 is considered the minimum performance for LBs. In fact, he's near or below the minimum standards in many categories. Take a look at this breakdown as it has his metrics and notes minimums: http://firstmomentsjewelry.com/article/2016-nfl-draft-reggie-ragland-prospect-profile The other big concern of mine is that he played on an exceptionally talented Alabama defense. He was very well protected there and he wasn't exactly asked to do that much in coverage. I'm not saying he can't surprise me and become and all around LB, but I just don't think that's likely. He just looks like a 2 down thumper to me, but I'll be happy if I'm underestimating him. Here's the NFL.com profile that jibes with the first link: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/reggie-ragland?id=2555169 Comparing him to Luke Kuechly is crazy. Just look how he tested: http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/luke-kuechly?id=2533056
  6. Well, that's not nothing (as I'm fond of saying). Interesting. Thanks.
  7. I know Tyrod initiated a conversation with McD. Are there reports of additional conversations or is that it? (I'm seriously asking for information here.)
  8. Ah! No worries. That makes more sense. Hope it was a good distraction.
  9. I'd almost root for them if I thought this would be the case. It's just wishful thinking though. The hype regarding trading Garoppolo and his potential value coming from Foxboro tells me neither Brady nor Belichick is going anywhere any time soon.
  10. Getting a stud do-it-all MLB would be the best case scenario, but I'm just trying to work with what we've got. I'd like to see what Zach can do in the middle behind a quality DL. As for Ragland, where I want to see him on passing downs is on the sideline. No way do I depend on him to cover a TE or RB. Remember, the Nickel is the base defense in the NFL now. That means two LBs (or one LB and a safety-LB hybrid) on the field. Zach can be one of those LBs. Ragland would be a liability.
  11. You might see Zach on the inside on passing downs and Nickel/Dime/etc. packages. Ragland could take the inside on rushing downs and in the base (and bigger) defensive formation(s). Zach could play the outside when in those.
  12. I'm so sorry for your loss, NG. No parent should ever have to go through what you are. My deepest condolences.
  13. Agreed. It would be a good step in the right direction.
  14. You are an idiot.
  15. Obviously it's the fine tailgating we partake in.
  16. I used to work in the office building on Busch Blvd, just down the street from the plant. Right by the water towers. I usually love the smell of beer brewing and the smell from that place changed depending on the beer they were brewing, but it was usually pretty gross. Too much rice and corn in most of the recipes. Some days it was good though.
  17. Nice. We usually add the host city as well. Not hosting this year though. The late start and finish to the Sunday game has put a real damper on SB partying.
  18. Totally different situation when the player will be healthy before training camp. I'd be delighted with Hooker at 10.
  19. Well, you know, good luck with that.
  20. The Browns gave up a 3rd round comp pick for Collins. If they hadn't re-signed him, they'd be in line for a 3rd round comp pick next season. That's not exactly free spending. The speculation in the media is coming from Pats' shill Jason LaCanfora and its sole purpose is to drive up value for JG. Mary Kay Cabot simply recycled his "report" of Browns interest because, quite frankly, that's all she does. Also, I'm from Cleveland and I do know a lot of people there. Some are even in the know with the Browns. I can give you this much: the Browns haven't even decided on their direction concerning QB in 2017 and that includes any decision on whether or not to pursue a trade for JG. Anyone saying they know what they'll do in this regard, be it JLC, MKC or anyone else is full of ****. From my personal observation, the thought of giving up the 12th pick for a second round prospect with precious little gametape and who is on the last year of his rookie deal would be beyond asinine. It's just wishful thinking by Cheatriots fans and media hype coming from the team.
  21. That's hilarious! And I agree with the early post about Hooker only sliding into the 10-17 range. All that this does is eliminate his offseason workouts and OTAs. It doesn't have an effect on him making training camp, him playing in 2017 or his longevity. He will likely be there at 10 for the Bills now, which would certainly not have been the case otherwise.
