If you could get a day 2 pick for Cook would you pull the trigger…

Immediately and without hesitation. But there’s no way another team would offer that. -
I’d welcome an upgrade at QB2 - and it might be a real necessity if Trubisky is out. I don’t know that Dallas is going to give up Lance tho.

LOL Yeah, that’s something I should keep an eye on. Did you ever watch Friends? If so do you remember Fun Bobby?
-
Yup. It’s not just recovering from the injury, but also getting conditioned - both physically and mentally - to the point where a player can be effective on the field. It’s a heavy lift for Milano to be 100% ready for 2025. 2024 isn’t realistic.

34 or so years ago I visited my dad in the Bay area. He and his wife took me out to a bar as I was newly 21. Just hanging out and I look at the table tent with upcoming show and see that Greg Kihn was going to be playing on Wednesday. Then I realized it was Wednesday as I looked up to see him walk out and start to play. It was a great bit of luck and a really enjoyable show. RIP Greg.

When is it time for QB under Josh’s wings?

Cool. Have fun! Something to look for: M&H is on the corner of Main & Hamlin. The Hamlin street sign had a cut out of Damar Hamlin on it when I was there last. -

I used to hit the EA location once in a while. I live in Williamsville so was excited for one to open up near me. Huge difference. Told my buddy who liked the North location about it. Eventually he took his wife to EA. He was shocked at the difference and mentioned it to the bartender. He agreed and said it was simply the experience they have there. The same people cooking on the same equipment forever. The North location started off pretty good but has slid in my and my friends’ opinions. We don’t even bother anymore. My guess is that they’re just inconsistent at that location. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t. EA is small. If you can’t get in then I recommend M&H (Main & Hamlin) across the street. Former employees opened it and they were spot on when I went. A+. The next best option is to order takeout from Bar Bill’s takeout only window in the rear parking lot. The wings aren’t quite as good as in the bar, but they’re still solid. Take them into Aurora Beer Works and have some good beer with them. They welcome people doing that as they don’t have food. -

Depends on which Bar Bill. East Aurora is A+. The Clarence/Williamsville is a C-. Haven’t eaten at the Rochester location but expect it to be like the latter. -
Had them 10-7 with the expectation that Milano wouldn’t be 100% so I’ll keep that. I still think we make the playoffs, but divisional games will determine if it’s as a WC or AFCE champs. I did not expect Claypool to make out 53 so that doesn’t change anything for me.

giving up on Coleman already? (kidding)

I would think he is out for the season and, quite frankly, that we have seen the last of him in a Bills uniform. Teams get 8 players they can bring back from IR. Up to 2 of those can be IRed on final cutdown day with a designation to return. But that counts toward the team’s 8 whether or not they return. I doubt they use one of those on the off chance he makes it back. Now if the Bills cut Reid Ferguson for a day so they can keep Milano on the 53 and IR him in season, then there is hope. Next season Milano is set to make $10M in new money. He’ll be 31 and will be coming off of two significant injuries. He’s either going to take a big pay cut or he will be released in March (probably with a post 6/1 designation). And that all sucks. He’s one of my favorite Bills. But that’s the reality of it all.
-
Yup. They’re pushing hard to win the division and have some hope in the playoffs. They could get in and win a playoff game this season.

I can see the Bills getting a draft here to showcase their new stadium. We can’t have a SB so it seems fair to get a draft.

I'm really starting to quietly love this LB room

fantastic. thanks, I needed the chuckle today. -
I doubt that Milano would accept an injury settlement. No reason he shouldn’t get his whole salary this season. Also it would be a bad look for the Bills. Making him a June 1st cut designation next offseason makes sense though. Which sucks because he’s one of my favorite players, but I can see it happening. His cash payouts jump up to about $10M in 2025 & 2026. Tough to tie that up in an already 30 year old player who may be breaking down physically. Its a sad day. Contract

This acquisition could be of enormous value. While he is not Milano he is a quality player. He has had some injuries, but he was healthy all of last season.

@HappyDays has already earned his credibility here. You’ve only been around for a year so you may not have been aware of that

Am anxiously awaiting actual information. Hopefully it’ll be good news rather than something that makes the rest of this thread look like the “good part”.
-
An injury settlement would allow the Bills or another team to sign him when he’s healthy.
-
Good for you! I’m not sure what yard line that puts you on, but IMO front row, upper deck seats are the best you can get.
