  1. Browns. I grew up and lived most of my life in Cleveland and am a lifelong fan. When it comes to the Browns and Bills playing each other I’ll root in utilitarian fashion. If they meet in the playoffs then I’ll root for the team I think is better and has the better chance at winning it all. Bears - Because of ST coordinator Chris Tabor and QB Justin Fields. Got to know the Tabor family a bit when he was with the Browns. Great people. Also I’m a big fan of Fields as a player and would love to see one of my Buckeyes succeed in the NFL as a QB. Fitz - for the reasons mentioned and because a friend of mine got to know him a bit when he played here. Had nothing but good things to say about him. Josh McCown - in all likelihood he’s retired now, but I wanted him to win a playoff game so bad. He’s one of the true class acts in the league.
  2. I have a Big Green Egg (BGE) now. Previously I had the black Char Grill non-ceramic one. It worked almost as well as the BGE and was a fraction of the cost, but it only lasted 2-3 seasons. If you’re not sure if you want an egg, then it’s not a bad way to go for a couple years to see if you like it enough to drop the money on a ceramic. TBH I find the BGE a little pretentious but I got a decent deal on mine and I’m not swapping it out now. Many dealers have events where volunteer cooks make food on a bunch of them. You can get a discount if you buy one of those. You should reserve it ahead of time though. There are other brands that are just as good as the BGE. My buddy got his at Costco. It was close to the same price as the BGE but it was larger and came with a ton of extra stuff that would’ve really added up for the BGE. It works great. I believe that Cabelas used to have their own brand, but I don’t see it on their site now. Nothing wrong with a Kamado either. Oh and eggs are great to cook on. If you like charcoal cooking then you’ll be happy with one.
  3. It was in the video. She told the “police” that she had autism while they were yelling at her. The guys had “police” on their backs but the local police office said they were not their officers so there is some question about whether they were actual officers.
  4. Thanks. I’ll give them a try. And I agree on tipping. Servers work hard and should get paid well if they do a good job. I get stuff from Cameron Hughes regularly. For those who are not familiar, they buy extra grape juice from vintners and bottle it under their own label. They have a huge selection and much of it is very good and can be had at below market prices. https://chwine.com
  5. Couple things: - Autism matters when dealing with people. In a highly confrontational situation where people are in her face like they were on the video it’s a big deal. They should not have treated anyone like that, but particularly not someone they knew had a disability like Autism. That’s gonna be a problem for them. - That place has a water park. There would be people waking around in swimsuits so it is highly doubtful that she was the skimpiest dressed person around.
  6. No. When did I say that? Labels are only meaningful to me when I know they actually denote quality or value. I’m not going to pay extra for a badge or designer label. But if there’s something well made from a premium brand and I want, then it I’ll try to find the best price on it. Sometimes if I really want something I pay full price, but not if I don’t have to.
  7. I’m a value shopper. I like nice stuff but will get it from outlet malls, clearance racks, whatever. F paying full price. And I despise the high end designer label stuff that is about showing off the badge and not about actual quality of product. Not that some expensive stuff isn’t worth it, but most is just people saying “look how much I paid for this”. Gross. As for good wine, give me the $10 bottle that drinks like a $30 bottle or the $20 bottle that drinks like a $50 bottle. I find the good/great values and stick with them. They often don’t last, but the hunt is part of the fun.
  8. Let’s keep politics out of this thread please!
  9. I could see them moving to Las Vegas like the Raiders just did.
  10. The craziest thing about this is that Six Flags Oklahoma City has a water park. People would be walking around in a lot less than what she was wearing.
  11. And he’s great at challenging reality too
  12. I stopped reading at “Tucker Carlson”
  13. Even though there is a lot of uncertainty about 2022’s cap it’s a lot safer to think that the 2023 cap will ballon considerably. We will see a lot of teams kick hits to that year. Big jumps in the cap always make it difficult to (efficiently) use a lot of excess space anyway. That’s because it’s easy for teams to retain just about anyone they want and not much real talent hits the market.
  14. But he’s tired! Been walking’ all day
  15. Oh, ouch. Then he should’ve gone wherever he had the best chance to make a team
  16. If the money is about the same, then I think most players would rather either be near home or on a possible championship team. The Rams look like a playoff team this year and it’s close to his family so it makes sense to me.
  17. I think that it is probable that the NFL is floating these two possible opener games to get a feel for how well received they’d be. That’s be smart on their part.
  18. Yup. They’re just throwing whatever they can at the problem. It isn’t much, but it’s what they can do at the moment.
  19. The team’s reaction to it really showed something. Allen said they were all like “Well, they got this one. Next.” Basically that it didn’t change what they thought they could accomplish the rest of the way. No head hanging or anything like that.
  20. As mentioned before, Baker had three offensive systems in his first three years. Last season he didn’t even have a proper offseason to learn and practice this one. He looked bad early, but finished strong. Now he gets to, for the first time as a pro, stay in that same scheme for a second season. Let’s see how he does with that before passing judgement.
  21. My 15 year old daughter told me that she thinks Zach Lance is hot. Maybe that’s because he looks 17. Personally I didn’t study the QBs coming out in any detail (because I don’t root for a team that needed one), but I thought second overall was awfully high for a prospect whose negatives included issues with accuracy and decision making. True that Allen had the same knocks so you never know.......
  22. Bills should’ve been in that convo. Not saying that they’re #1, but I don’t see how they’re left out of consideration. Maybe if they were including TEs and pass catching from RBs, but not straight up WR corps.
  23. For what it’s worth, I’ve heard that the timing of the info on his possible heart condition coming out was the issue for teams. They didn’t get a chance to have medical evaluations by their own doctors like in typical years and didn’t have time to do much work on him when it came out. Now he’s cleared.
