I’d say Mack still belongs at the top of that list. Garrett definitely belongs on it too. Those are the top 5 IMO. I’d go Donald (no cap considerations) but a stud WR like Hopkins would make a lot of sense too. How filthy would our WR corps be with him, Diggs and Beasley on the field together?

Never trade big draft capital for a player un for a new deal unless you negotiate that deal prior to the trade. Teams get bent over every time.

The NFL has been gradually limiting tailgating and this kind of behavior is one of the reasons why. The others are profit and liability. Teams are trying to drive the tailgaters to team owned areas where they can sell them $12 beers. Not gonna have all that many drunks at that price. That means more money, less liability and fewer problems at the stadium.

I’ve seen a lot of older players try to make a comeback after being out of football. But they never seem to get anything more than a try out, if that. And the only one I recall who tried a position switch at the time of the attempted come back is Kelvin Benjamin. He tried to go from WR to TE and literally didn’t make it through warm ups in the first practice. i’ve said it 100 times. It’s not Tebow, it’s the throng of rabid supporters who fawn over him and defend him at every turn. No matter how poor his play or how ridiculous a comeback attempt, it’s the same thing. His spot on JAC should’ve gone to someone with an outside shot at the roster. I lost respect for Urban Meyer for even bringing him in and creating such a sideshow. But, hey, they sold some jerseys.

My wife can attest to this as well. She got hit with it in October 2020 and she still isn’t 100%. She works out most days and is in generally good shape and health, but it’s still been a rough road back for her with exhaustion. She still has issues with smelling too.

Covid only knocked Garrett out of action for two games, but he looked like a shell of himself the rest the season. As mentioned above it took him a whole offseason with specialists and a ton of hard work to get himself all the way back to where he was pre-Covid. Obviously we don’t know if Dawkins is in a similar situation or not, but it’s my concern that he is. And reading what McDermott said about where he is right now does not alleviate any of that concern.

RTs have not yet reached equilibrium with LTs, but it has gotten a lot closer in recent years. The days of a much cheaper RT who is primarily a run blocker to go with a LT who is primarily a pass protector are gone. Both better be quality players in pass pro now.

$7.43M over three seasons left on Henderson’s contract. Fully guaranteed. Fifth year option available. He had a round one grade from every site I checked, though some had him mid to late first round. He’s a man coverage boundary CB so if he’s really available some team will take a shot on him. Like most here, any interest by the Bills would be dependent on compensation. The one thing I don’t buy is the BS about the Jags being so happy with their CB room they’d let him go. Why isn’t any other CB on the trade block? Why such a young, highly touted draft pick who you’ve already paid most of his contract dollars to? That makes no sense. They want him gone because of something up with him or the organization. Finding out the real story should be done before any real negotiations.

If you don't think that teams can find a difference maker at 17 - especially at MLB - then I don’t know what to tell you. Interior LBs are almost never taken early in the first round anyway. The Donald comment was just to show how ridiculous your statement about not finding difference makers after the early 1st is. The NFL is full of them. The Bills have a bunch of them too. How about Tre White? Or Diggs? Beasley? Hyde? Poyer? Milano?

Not sure what medals/competitions you’re referencing here. The US Women's Beach Volleyball teams have won several gold medals at the Olympics. Klineman in particular and Ross also have a bunch of gold medals from other competitions.

I know Tre is young, but 2020 was year 3 for him. I see how his injury likely impacted his ability to take on blockers. The good with him are the splash plays. He makes some great ones. He is outstanding at scraping sideline to sideline. But on the bad side are his mistakes, of which there are too many. If he cleaned up his coverage and gap integrity issues, he’d probably be an All Pro. But those haven’t gotten better and I don’t think a full offseason in 2020 would’ve made a big difference. Still, things can click for players. Maybe it’ll be easier for him this season with him being fully healthy.

I think we know who Edmunds is as a player already and he’s not worth close to that IMO. He does, however, deserve a chance to prove he is. We have him locked up for two seasons so let’s see how this year - and maybe next - goes.

All Pro and washed up vets/JAGs aren’t the only two options. It definitely doesn’t work like that. There were reasonable options in FA and the draft, but Beane went in other directions. I’m hoping we add another decent CB for depth before the season starts because we are thin.

I like it. It is the market value deal that Allen earned and it got done at a time that made a lot of sense for both sides. Allen didn’t take a discount, but I didn’t expect him to. And there is nothing wrong with that.
