The Giants pretty much have to go full blood bath on their roster. Their situation is much worse than what McD came into here. The only player you listed that would make sense to follow Daboll is Trubisky. Always good to have a QB with experience in your system on your team.

I would be stunned if they weren’t a package deal. Daboll has certainly earned a good shot as a HC. The Giants are one of the more desirable openings too. Ownership has proven to be good at times despite recent struggles. Jobs like Jax and Houston are perfect for coaches just looking to pick up a huge paycheck so I don’t see him going to one of those. A quality GM and HC combo can win with the Giants if they have time to build their roster and can find a QB.

Yup. I expect a lot of emphasis on high value positions like Edge, CB and WR early. If there is not a stud sitting there, then teams will tho for good players at a premium positions. Some QBs will go due to need too. If it were a better IDL class then they’d be included above. Needy teams will have to reach. It’s going to be a rough FA period if you need one - and most teams do. For the Bills, day 1 might be a good time to trade back. There will be a QB or two sitting there at the end of round 1 and some team will want the 5th year option.

Most stadiums have a lot of tickets for sale because of businesses that scalp tickets. They own a lot of season tickets in addition to the tickets they buy and sell. They often have relationships with people working in sales for teams/venues. Plus there are always individuals looking to make money on their tickets.

It would make a lot of sense to have them come as a package deal. It is so important to have the GM & HC on the same page. I have not seen a report that Daboll interviewed with the Giants, but he might be waiting on Schoen’s hire first. I thought that the game plan for the beat down of the Pats looked very similar. I expect more of the same plus some added wrinkles this time around with KC. Both teams have explosive offenses and can put a lot of points on the board, but the Bills have a better defense than the Chefs. I expect that to be the difference.

There’s so much money at stake in the NFL I’m sure there is plenty of seedy behavior already. The official cozying up of the NFL and the gambling industry will certainly lead to greater issues.

Daboll is a very, very good OC. I’d like him to stay, but he’ll probably get an opportunity to move on and get a HC job this off-season. Also it’s getting to be a better time for him to do so in his personal life. (Nothing nefarious on the personal side.)

Been thinking about where the Bills are and what lies ahead in the playoffs and I keep coming back to this: Looking at the whole gauntlet of likely opponents is a lot more daunting than any one game they’ll have to play. They are right there with the other top teams. I’d expect the Bills to win a given game against many teams we could play - NE included - and the others are still beatable. You never know. Prepare well and play your best games and no one knows what’ll happen. I am prepared to enjoy the ride. I hope everyone else does too.
