  1. Agree about keeping Rousseau if a player like Garrett is added somehow (though I’m not holding my breath). Rousseau has no bend so he really can’t get to a QB quickly. His only way to do it on his own is to walk the OT back and shed. That doesn’t work very often against NFL OTs. The reality is that he is a complimentary edge and needs to be opposite a quality rush edge to really be effective. That way he can shed and tackle the QB when the rush edge flushes him to his side. There’s no better rush Edge than Garrett in the game today.
  2. I could see the Browns being interested in Kincaid. Njoku is a quality TE but they’ll likely be back to using more 12 personnel in 2025 and could use an upgrade to Atkins. My opening offer for Garrett would be 2 firsts and Kincaid.
  3. A very good HC that gets horribly tight and predictable in big moments. Great coaches know when to break tendencies and we have a HC that won’t do that or allow his coordinators to do it.
  4. It can be more than one thing. The DL is one of the things.
  5. I think you misunderstood me. I’m surprised he can play any CB spot in the NFL due to his hips. I think the only reason he saw success at NB was because he was almost always in zone. I thought he’d be a safety in the NFL.
  6. Pre-draft DeJean was projected to be a zone corner or safety. His most notable flaw was thought to be his fluidity which would limit him in man coverage. That makes his effectiveness as a nickel a bit of a surprise. His ability with his eyes toward the QB was thought to be his big asset. That obviously was on display in the SB. The Eagles could sit in zone behind a very effective 4 man rush. That put DeJean in throwing lanes over the MOF.
  7. Agree. I just don’t see this regime opening up holes on the team. Pressure has never been higher for them. The only way they move any player of significance is in a trade for a true difference making player like Garrett or Crosby. They’re more likely to trade current and future picks for players who can immediately contribute.
  8. Do you mean Hendrickson from Cincy?
  9. The Iggles weren’t going to beat themselves in the SB like the Ravens did against us in the divisional round.
  10. In the first two, sure. Going into OT in the 13 seconds I was thinking the winner was going to have a tough time the following week. But not now. KC knows they’re in for a tough game against us, that it’ll be close and that they win and move on. It is no longer an emotional drain for them. It certainly didn’t look like it was last year. We have to actually beat them in the playoffs to change that.
  11. I took that as a sign that he was feeling pressure for next season.
  12. It’s not unusual for teams to tell multiple players that they will be their guy if available.
  13. Yep. He said the Bills told him that if he was there then he was their guy. He seemed to take it personally.
  14. Under McDermott, last season’s Chiefs team was the only team that the Bills lost to in the playoffs that did not lose their very next game. Collectively those teams are 1-6 in their next game. I’ve repeatedly used that fact to argue against people that say that if it weren’t for the “unbeatable Mahomes and Reid Chiefs” we’d be winning SBs.
  15. aren’t Morris and Driskell both out injured?
  16. I’m definitely not in the demo.
  17. I don’t know how much Kendrick Lamar paid the NFL to perform the halftime show, but it wasn’t enough.
  18. You’d think, but I heard those Parsons rumors last season and again this one. The locker room is a big thing the Bills have going for them so I don’t want them to add a player that could screw it up. That all said, if you were going to risk it, then a Parsons level talent would be what you’d risk it on. And maybe the Bills locker room is strong enough that he wouldn’t be a problem.
  19. Chris Tabor is available as well. He got denied permission to interview after he was interim HC in Carolina in 2023 and missed out on coaching this season. Excellent STC and better person.
  20. Typically I’d agree, but I don’t want Parsons. The word out of Dallas is that the locker room would not miss him. He’s supremely talented to be sure, but I don’t want the Bills to hand a huge contract to a player like that. We’d be stuck with him for at least 3 seasons and if things went sideways………
  21. I’m happy to see an experienced coach come in. Hopefully this means some fresh ideas. I’m interested in what this means for our defensive personnel.
  22. yeah. nice they have the differently modeled trade charts.
