  1. I think you’re trying to get @TheBeaneBanditmurdered
  2. So your strategy would be to try to outscore the Vikings? Interesting….. (Sorry, I’m just kidding around. I know what you mean.)
  3. A Josh Allen thread about his favorite color could go 110+ pages on this board. And, no, even if the team was 100% sure he wasn’t playing he wouldn’t be ruled out publicly. I don’t know if he’s playing or not, but why would they give the Vikings a heads up on that?
  4. I never said it was. The AG is bringing their suit based on their consumer protection laws, which they claim were violated. That is definitely right in line with an AG’s job.
  5. My feelings about Snyder are not important. His actions and the impact of those actions on the people in DC and in the football team he owns are what’s important. I understand that. Do you understand that the AG for DC only works for the residents of DC, not the residents of the entire US?
  6. Sure, but the AG for DC only represents the people of that district, not the whole US. There is a US AG that does that.
  7. Chub and Hunt are a worry. Cook has not been his usual self this season. He has been very pedestrian. His yards after contact/carry are right on league average. I’m hopeful we can limit him this Sunday.
  8. In dark times it often helps to find a silver lining in tragedy. But sometimes there isn’t one.
  9. It is mine as well. Fantastic food and cocktails - all with extra details and attention that would make them nearly impossible to duplicate at home. Though we did pickle our own mustard seeds to try and mimic their Brussels sprouts. Getting close on that dish. Great staff and atmosphere as well. I love that it has avoided becoming pretentious.
  10. I firmly believe that other teams respect the Bills, but you are getting way ahead of yourself even asking about anything beyond that.
  11. Allen had two picks, two other passes that should’ve been picked and two fumbles that the Bills recovered. Sorry, but no matter how good a QB is otherwise, that’s a great way to lose a game - even against an inferior opponent. Yes, others should share the blame. The OL, Dorsey and Beane/McDermott should. I’m including the last pair because of their strategy and execution of OL talent acquisition and development. I was worried about two units coming into the season: DBs and OL. They threw some significant resources at DB. OL, not so much. Retaining Bates and signing an over the hill OG in Saffold to go along with a late round OL who got cut didn’t look like nearly enough at the time and it sure doesn’t now either.
  12. That’s a great question. Hayburner is uneven and I don’t love that they moved it toward more of a NEIPA. I’m not really a NEIPA fan. Sticky Trees is pretty good. I really do not love a lot of local IPAs. My favorites available locally are Three Floyds Zombie Dust, Fathead’s Headhunter, Cigar City Jai Alai and Bells Two Hearted. Dogfishhead has good IPAs as does Sierra Nevada and Lauganitas. Outside of that and other IPAs from the breweries mentioned above, I like IPAs from Deschutes, The Alchemist (working through a case of Heady Topper now) and Prison City. Honorable mention to Lawson’s Sip ‘o Sunshine, but there have been some issues with distribution and freshness. Fresh it’s great though. And that’s the best advice I can give you. Find fresh IPAs you like and drink up. That style degrades faster than any other. Feel free to ask me about beers or breweries.
  13. Destination is a great IPA
  14. JFC. People act like a call/non-call never goes in the Bills favor. I sure never see a thread about one when the Bills win.
  15. Okay. First, yes, you gotta class drinking up or it looks bad. It’s a flight or a vertical tasting, not four glasses of wine. 😛 As for NYBP, I was a brewer for several years at the Lockport location. I found their food to be up and down when I was there. I’d literally choose my lunch order based on who was on the grill. Big Mike was money. So were some of the late night weekend people. The owners always tinkered with the menu and ingredients and looked to cut costs. Sometimes it was fine, other times not so good. They’ve never had an issue with filling the place up though. The head brewer there, Jason, knows his s**t. He’s an outstanding brewer that really dedicates himself and takes a lot of pride in what he brews. That said, the owners largely dictate what is brewed as well as a lot of the, um, “flavor profiles”. In short, they’re more concerned with him making what sells to most people (and there is nothing wrong with that), but as a beer nerd I would do some things differently - and so would he. When Jason gets to do some of his own projects, he does amazing work. The Orlando location is going to be crazy busy. I don’t know who the brewer in that location is so I can’t speak to that. Go and see if you like the food, beer and atmosphere. I believe that Orchard Park is their next location.
  16. I can vouch for Britesmith if you want to hit a brewpub. Food is good and beer is on point. I’m a certified beer judge and their beer is excellent from a technical standpoint. I’ve yet to detect a flaw or off flavor.
  17. The cheese they use is gross. It tastes like plastic.
  18. This is ridiculous. The Bills have the best scoring defense in the league. It’s the best per game and the best per play. It’s not a perfect metric, but it’s also not particularly close. Bills are giving up 14.8 ppg. Second best is Denver at 16.5. Link There is certainly room for debate about whether the Bills have the best Defense in the league, but it’s certainly been good enough for the Bills to win every game they’ve played.
  19. What part of town are you staying in? Also are you from Buffalo? That would impact my recommendation for Italian food. If you are near Tonawanda, Prescott’s Provisions is my rec. Make reservations, share a bunch of plates and get dessert.
  20. Good points - especially about the laxity. I was thinking that the worry would be making a partial tear worse, but a loose joint could also lead to a more serious injury.
  21. A partial ligament tear is also known as a sprain. (A sprain can also be a stretching of ligaments.) The only possibilities were those two or a full tear. They’d have know right away if it was fully torn, so that’s out. It seems like this would all be put to bed already if the UCL was just stretched out. So we’re left with a partial tear. That could range from something very slight to a bad, but not complete tear. The guy might know something or he might just be making a logical guess, but he’s probably right. Here’s hoping it is something slight and some stretched ligaments.
  22. 🤣 That is ridiculous. It’s not so much that the run game isn’t working, it’s that run plays aren’t being called enough. I haven’t had a chance to look for stats on this but it seems to me that we start out with a higher percentage of runs, but then drift to much more passing. If I was a DC going against a team like that I’d wait for the playcalling to drift to heavy passing and then I’d have my DL pin their ears back and go after the QB.
  23. This is Case Keenum’s 10th season in the NFL. Everyone knows who he is - and didn’t need 2022 preseason to make a judgement. He did have a very good 2017, but has been pretty bad otherwise. STATS
