  1. I live in Chili but work in Henrietta so i am flexible to where everyone would want to meet. Though I would probably prefer someplace in the middle between the east and west side depending on where everyone is.
  2. There is that fact as well.
  3. While i understand your point and part of me agrees with you; he's an adult and he is making the conscience decision to play. From a business perspective though, most NFL teams will steer clear of signing him just because of the potential of bad press if he were to be seriously injured again or God forbid killed on the field. They only way I think a team would be willing to risk it is if they can get the doctors to sign of that his risk of a repeat injury are 100% guaranteed to be no more than any other player that has never had his injury before and I don't think any doctor would be willing to go on record saying that.
  4. He may be a game changer because of his size, but as Bubba Gump said, he is a drooling gorilla. I Can't stand him almost as much as I have the cheating POS Brady. He's a first class a-hole just like of that Pats team.
  5. Agree with this. Besides, there is no way they are going to pull back on instant replay now. Most fans and some players will go into an angry frenzy, especially after a bad call where a receiver lands in or out of bounds and costs a team a game or chance at the playoffs. I like the idea of adding the camera to the football but the helmet cam....not happening. One good jolt with the ground and camera busted. You will never see a "true" zero tolerance policy in the NFL. If that were to happen teams would lose more than half their star players if not half their team to policy violations. The game is fine the way it is with the exception of the woosification that it's taking place.
  6. Agreed, stupid logic. Especially since Buffalo has routinely had issues filling the stadium for December home games except in the 90's era. Many do not want to Freeze and deal with the snow. And now that all games are televised they are definitely staying home in the cold months.
  7. Indeed, a great story. Football in many households is what binds a family so tightly. Rooting for the team that you love so much. ALS truly is a horrible disease. Many blessings to you and your family this and all future holiday seasons.
  8. I don't know if I would even want Eli. He was to me an above average QB but not elite. It should be noted that his playing issues the last few years can mostly be contributed to the lack of O-line support to protect him. The big questions are does he have anything left in the tank and how much is he going to cost? Some of the positives with him are that he is durable, and isn't afraid to sling the pig skin. Not sure he's worth the risk though.
  9. Sure, be a fan of what he was when he was on the field....not what he is or has turned into. Ever since all this stuff has come out about CTE, and not to use it as an excuse in any way, but I have been curious as to how much it had an effect on him and if it contributed to what happened with murders.
  10. Why are we asking this question again? hasn't this topic been beaten to death enough already? Of course they are going QB in round 1. It's a no brain'er!
  11. This could possibly be true now simply because of his age he has to work the hardest, but this was not the reason he was winning early in his career. The fact is, he was and is a cheater; and once a cheater, always a cheater. The fact that he is even in the conversation as best ever is simply laughable. The guy is scum. Exactly!!
  12. Probably one of the most articulated and well written posts that I have read in a long time and imo probably the most accurate account of what Beane and McD are working towards. Fans are just frustrated and impatient. As for the Sabres, I don't follow hockey anymore so I can't speak to the Sabres issues. And how do you figure trading away Watkins, Dareus and Darby were for petty reasons? That idea is ridiculous and proven by their "accomplishments" since they left. Watkins and Darby have done nothing of note and Dareus was a cash cow who was phoning in half his on the field performance...when he was on the field. Not to mention an off the field thorn in Bills side.
  13. OP, why do you care who owns the team? does it affect your life as to who owns the team? I for one don't care who bought the team as long as it stayed in Buffalo. The Pagulas came in on a white horse and kept the team from leaving buffalo. So in my book, and in the books of many, many fans, as long as the Pagulas are trying to field a winning team and keep striving to hire good coaches and solid players I will continue to support their ownership in any way that I can. No matter how small or insignificant my show of support is. The Pagulas not only love the city of Buffalo, but they also love the Buffalo Bills. They are not selling the team...no way, no how. Especially when they are making money and filling the stands.
  14. Our QB's are not allowed to audible. Dennison has never let his QB's audible out of a play. Not even i his previous OC positions.
  15. Totally agree, but as an earlier poster mentioned, Dennison seems to not allow his QB to audible for what ever reason. Now if I am the QB, i would audible anyway and take the heat during the game but then point out the issue in film the next day. But that's me. I think it just comes down to power and or confidence. seeing as I don't recall seeing TT audible this year I am guessing lack of power for the QB to change the play.
  16. The defense makes their shift making the LG and LT with no one to cover..... by this time the offense is lined up (obviously) and the play has already been called. Your making the assumption that your rookie QB is recognizing the mismatch and has the power\confidence to make the audible. Don't get me wrong... Dennison is part of the issue, but he is not the only issue with the offense. I am no TT fan, but if he had game planned around his talents, he would net better results. That said, It was Peterman's first start, he got rattled early with the INT and couldn't recover. My question is, who do you go with next week? Do you give Peterman another chance and see how he responds or to you sit him and say "we'll try again when we get you some better support from the o-line."
  17. I voted "It's a good move" because I think it's the right move. TT is an average to below average QB that make himself slightly above average because of his escape-ability and ability to use his legs to extend drives. We won't know what Peterman is unit you see him play in a real game with full week of prep time with the "1's" and we'll finally get to see that. He's going to struggle, that's a given, at least at times. What I like about him is that he is smart and can read a defense which I do not think TT was able to do, he has an accurate arm with the ability to lead the receiver and I have read that he actually knows how to throw the ball to the receiver before he's even made his break which TT has NEVER done or done so rarely it's like seeing a unicorn on the field.
  18. It kind of makes sense really. When his snap count was lowered they still had him as part of the game plan so when he was rotating out Worthy was getting a bulk of the playing time but still was rotating out fairly often so he was able to rest more. Now with Dareus gone all together, his snap count is higher and not rotating out as much. Plus teams are not having to game plan for double teaming Dareus. When you lose that big powerful body in the middle, it makes it easier to control the LOS for the O-line.
  19. Your Beane/McDermott comment must be a joke....right? S McD. has been know around the league as an up and coming top quality coach for some time. He took a team that everyone thought was going to "tank the season" into a 5-2 record in the first seven games. Yes the wheels fell off a bit, especially on the D, but to think that hiring Beane and\or McDermott as a mistake is plain ridiculous. You are correct about the run game, but that's only because TT sucks and is no threat as a passer to almost any defense in the league.
  20. Agree with this. I would love to see them make the playoffs. Especially since I didn't think they would even be sniffing a wildcard spot and you're probably right. He will most likely get picked off more but at least he's throwing it.
  21. This! It may blow up in their face, but we won't know until we try. TT has proven he is not "The Guy" time and time again. It's time to see what Peterman has. He's not as mobile but he seemed to be willing to actually throw the ball without the receiver being "wide open".
  22. Thanks for the invite. Always happy to find \ talk to local Bills fans. It's getting harder and harder to find people that are actually interested in talking about football these days.
  23. Sorry, my bad. didn't "hear" the sarcasm in the post. LOL!
