  1. He is a 3-4 NT. Wouldn't fit in Schwartz's scheme. And no where NEAR as athletic as Wilfork in his heyday.
  2. If the Bills go after Tre Mason in the 2nd, I'd be elated. A great, inside, one cut runner who has proven time and again he is tough to bring down.
  3. Well, their level of performance is going to determine the accuracy of my opinion. But he is certainly attempting to put the correct pieces in place.
  4. Strange... Whaley drafts a Big Ben-like QB and builds a Steel Curtain-like D... at least someone in this front office understands what it takes to win consistently...
  5. That's debatable. He had big numbers his rookie season, sure. At 9 million a year, he would have to reproduce his rookie numbers pretty consistently and he won't. He's also no where near as good in the run game as Williams and not as versatile as Williams. Combine that with his poor attitude and leaving the team out to dry last year with his "injury" when he didn't get what he wanted and I say good riddance.
  6. Considering the defense we put on the field the year before, Pet's defense was a huge upgrade. You can attempt to marginalize that any way you'd like, but the bottom line is they gave the offense plenty of opportunities last year. 21 more points than last season? So 3 touchdowns? Couldn't have anything to do with playing 2 rookie QBs and one with two starts, turning the ball over a plenty...
  7. Surprising that Kuchely still attempts to cover like he's in college. Gotta get your head around and box him out/go for the ball.
  8. This conservative, checkdown mentality is self imposed. It has been EJ's game since college. It is who he is. I pointed out to some of his more adamant supporters that he only threw for 300 yards 5 times in three years in a division that isn't known for great defenses. That was a red flag. It's more red now, watching Winston put up gaudy numbers on essentially the same team in the same offense. Just like Trent, I don't think you are going to see this change. And just like Trent, it is infinitely frustrating because physically, they are both more than capable of unleashing a few deep balls down the sidelines.
  9. They could've started Tuel and had a better chance at winning that game, let alone Thad. EJ is the worst QB on this roster right now. Sure he's been hurt, sure he's a rookie, but he is the epitome of a Buffalo Bills QB the past 8 years. He's the worst of every guy we've had, rolled into one. I am not willing to buy into the conservative play calling because he's a rookie. Tuel is a rookie and Thad had 1 start his entire career but for some reason, we were slinging the ball around with those guys out there. I said before the draft, EJ has a tendency to check the ball down and fold under pressure. Sorry to say that so far my stance on EJ has been justified. He has all the physical tools just like Losman but can't make up his mind where to put the ball. He's too conservative like Edwards and he's horribly inaccurate throwing deep like Fitz.
  10. It is the role he best fits. Let me guess, you're a guy on the internet who doesn't do well with reading comprehension. Great shtick, have never seen anyone play THAT role before.
  11. SJ isn't a number 1 receiver in the NFL. It's the Bills' fault for putting him in that position. A true #1 guy in the NFL is big, fast and physical. SJ is more of a Wes Welker kind of guy (although admittedly, not as tough) and most of his big plays this year were from the slot. Teams that truly thrive in the passing game are teams with big, physical receivers. The Lions are a great example. Not only do they have Megatron but they have TWO pass catching tight ends. Stafford can afford to throw the ball consistently, there is usually someone he can at least chuck it too and have them go up and attempt to make a play. So no, SJ shouldn't be traded.
  12. Boy this is one terrible game.
  13. Lewis and Tuel couldn't be any worse than EJ right now.
  14. This whole discussion comes from a warped point of view. It's always all about the rich and what we can take from them. As France has proven, this isn't sustainable. Bottom line is that, if you want to fix the economy, you have to allow the private sector to create jobs. Having the highest corporate tax in the civilized world goes a long way in stunting our growth as a nation. So sure, tax investments. But only after lowering the corporate tax, payroll tax, etc. for companies that employ American workers.
  15. The less talked about situation was the pass to Robert Woods in the endzone. He catches the ball, controls it, two feet down, that's a catch. However the refs allowed the play to continue in the endzone and the Chiefs defender ripped the ball out and it was called incomplete. My understanding of the endzone is that it is like going out of bounds. Once you're there, with possession of the ball, play is over. Or at least it used to be...
  16. So there isn't one man to blame... but you blame Tuel? What about TJ's fumble returned for a touchdown? What about Woods dropping the pass in the endzone? How about the holding call that brought back Leodis' punt return for a touchdown? Every mistake this team made yesterday seemed to cost them points.
  17. Was Mitt Romney Right About Everything? I would say this was shocking, but anyone with just a smidgen of common sense was voting for him because they knew he was right all along. I like how it's explained that Mitt tried to seriously discuss these issues, but he was continuously met with punchlines and slogans. If liberals even understood anything, they'd realize the jokes on them. They fell for it, and there is no way to fix it now.
  18. If he's a liberal, I am going to go with no, no he does not. Afterall, with the Democratic party running things, at what percentage is the government running these days? 450% over annual revenue? Some people believe money is, in fact, growing on trees. Nevermind all the hard work the people that own these establishments have put in to get where they are. Nevermind the negative impact it has on them, even though they are doing the greatest community service of all. PROVIDING JOBS. Why is the blame laid on them? Do they create the legislation that has all but driven manufacturing from this country? Support the Unions that have done the same? Are they the ones that have raised the nominal corporate tax rate to 35%? The highest in the world when discussing developed economies? I don't understand why the first thing out of people's mouths is raise the minimum wage. Do you know what that does? It drives up the cost of living. The minimum wage will always be a non or difficult living wage. Always. You can make it $15 an hour. A gallon of milk will be $10, bread will be $6 so on and so forth. The best way to get people on a living wage is o have jobs available. Companies are in business to make money. That's no secret. If we want manufacturing back, we have to be conducive to big business as a country. Lower corporate taxes than other developed nations, driving the unions out with right-to-work legislation and aggressively pursuing the relocation of companies to American shores through tax breaks, incentives such as land, etc.
  19. In Soviet America, car drive yoU!
  20. And before the government was going bankrupt from these practices, it was the very industry that supported Detroit in the first place. You can't be competitive when you are paying out as many pension checks as you are payroll checks, especially with the unions aggressive pursuit of higher pay, even as the jobs become less demanding.
  21. Wait... that article wasn't satire? Hmmm...
  22. His eye? I am more worried about his stone hands.
  23. I think we need to have some "flight" bags with a picture of CJ on them. It could be our own terrible towel.
  24. You just described every state in this country. Reason? Liberals tend to live in the urban areas because they are poor and uneducated. They tend to seek the out stretched hand of daddy Obama.
  25. Well, we're in America here. So shut up.
