  1. Chip does not want big personalities in the locker room. He doesn't want prima donas, whiners, etc. It's his team, if you can't handle that then you get traded or released. He's getting his point across to the rest of that locker room. It's either his way or the highway. For McCoy to infer that Chip "got rid of" him and Jackson because they're black is probably the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time, and if this is how the black community sees the world than no wonder they are rioting and looting. Chip Kelly's mind and personality in a black man's body still trades McCoy. He obviously has a toxic personality. Should be fun to watch, and great trade Whaley. Could've had Tevin Coleman who actually fits the power running game Roman wants to employ. But nah, let's trade for a guy who cries racism because a coach doesn't like his douchey personality.
  2. Oh yea, another thread where dudes are talking about other dude's hand sizes.
  3. Kiko/Hughes/Bradham/Murray >>>>>> McCoy
  4. Cassel is the odds on favorite to be insurance in case EJ/Tyrod go down.
  5. Question for the O-Line people. Is it possible that running a different scheme upfront negates our need for an offensive lineman in the draft? Is it possible that some of the young guys hanging around OBD have been working on getting better?
  6. I think we'll also see some McCoy/Harvin backfields as well, where one or both of them motion out.
  7. Kiko+Murray > McCoy. Every. Single. Time.
  8. Yea, Chip Kelly can bite me. You want real innovation you come to TBD damn it. In fact, I would keep Tyrod and run the wishbone with three QBs.
  9. I wouldn't know which one to pick, I think I would create a new offense that allows Tuel and Tebow to be out there at the same time.
  10. Whichever it defaults to. I've ran about 5 more drafts and the one I posted is the only time one of the better tight ends has fallen to the third.
  11. We used a site that simulates the draft. So the program is drafting players to each team and when your team comes up, you pick from who is left (the big board). When I saw Williams in Round 3 I grabbed him, but yea, in real life he will probably be gone much sooner.
  12. Short passing game is often viewed as part of the run game, so you need to take that into consideration. Whoever throws the best screen is going to start at QB.
  13. If Tyrod wins the QB competition it will be with his arm, not his legs. While I am sure the prospect of him running the option was on Roman and Rex's mind when they signed him, he will still have to make all the throws, as they say. And no one knows where EJ is at after being benched for 14 games but I can definitely see this competition coming down to Cassell and Taylor if the reports of EJ playing horribly in practice last year are true. Even Trent Edwards looked good in practice. It will be interesting, to say the least.
  14. Wow... really? That's pretty much the worst thing I've ever read anywhere, ever. You are bad, and you should feel bad.
  15. Ok but we have 4. Plus Rex loves Tyrod. I wouldn't expect to see a QB.
  16. I liked your idea so I had a go at it. I wouldn't be mad at all if our draft looked something like this. 50: R2P18 ILB STEPHONE ANTHONY CLEMSON 81: R3P17 TE MAXX WILLIAMS MINNESOTA 147: R5P19 OT ROB HAVENSTEIN WISCONSIN 172: R6P12 DT MARCUS HARDISON ARIZONA STATE 178: R6P18 CB QUANDRE DIGGS TEXAS 209: R7P17 DE ZACK WAGENMANN MONTANA
  17. Some people just can't accept that they are only half the man Tebow is. People like Gugny want people like me and Tim Tebow to fail. It's OK, we've learned to turn the other cheek and love them no matter how deep seeded and irrational their hatred may be.
  18. If Tebow gets a second chance, he will win games for whichever team grants him that second chance. Eye tests and stats and throwing motions don't matter when you want to win football games. The question, who wants to win football games?
  19. Jeff Tuel. He'll come in razor sharp and wow Rex into getting a Tuel Time tattoo.
  20. With the 9ers I think it was more a matter of personnel than anything. Watkins and Harvin are far greater with the ball in their hands than anyone on the 9ers.
  21. Percy is Sammy Watkins insurance. Sammy can't be the only guy running these screens and sweeps. He's too good a down field threat for that. Percy will most likely be doing a lot of what he did with the Gators and Vikings and that is perfectly fine. A backfield consisting of McCoy and Harvin is going to be lethal. Wait until Tyrod comes in for some wildcat/triple option fun.
  22. McCoy will be good sure, for a few more years but Alonso will be great for a decade.
  23. Well it won't be Mariotta or Winston. Those are the next QBs off the board and they would most likely have to move up at least within the second round to get the one they want. Picking a new QB and trading up to get him = big things. Note I didn't say the right thing.
  24. If the plan is to cut him, they have to be thinking big things for the draft, like Petty or Hundley. McCown will be the place holder until Roman and Rex can't stand it anymore. Having lived in the Tampa area for 5 years now and having seen a lot of McCown last year, I think the Bills FO is high for even bringing this guy in.
  25. CJ Spiller gets a lot of hate for being one of the most explosive players in the NFL. He's been hampered by injuries and poor O line play. Not to mention the abysmal play calling. He and Watkins were both LETHAL in the screen game at Clemson but I can't recall more than a handful of screens thrown to them all year. We have guys that are great in space, but the coaches and the line have to get them there.
