  1. With all the holes and all the "dead cap" money, we couldn't afford to sign a guy like that and fix anything else wrong with the team. He would have to be Tom Brady to even think about winning with this current roster.
  2. Yea I mean you've gotta think, Glenn, Wood, Richie, these guys have been here a while now and we've been a run first team for probably 4 or 5 years now. None of them will want to admit it but I'm certain that has taken it's toll on them.
  3. I don't play to win, I'm just trusting the process.
  4. Richie and Wood are right there too. The team as a whole does not have the physicality or speed to compete against the better teams in the league. I think that's why people are thinking they are quitting. They are just over matched.
  5. I never thought it was about just one game, I felt like even if we lost today and Peterman was kinda iffy we'd stick with him the rest of the year to give him a fair shot. But not now. I think they've got the answers they were looking for. Even if Tyrod starts the rest of the season he'll be gone. Peterman will probably be in a competition in the offseason for a roster spot of some kind. I think they are going to bet the farm and draft a guy high and clear as much cap space as they can to sign more vets and hope that works out for all the holes they won't be able to fill after trading a lot of picks.
  6. No idea, but I doubt he'll be one of them. I know Peyton looked rough his first year but I don't think anything like that. First 4 starts Peyton threw 11 picks. Eli was also pretty terrible but nothing like that, not even as bad as Peyton in terms of turnovers.
  7. Awh, you went through my comments in other threads and found where I said it didn't you? You're a clown. Well when you're about to commit a whole lot of the franchise's future to one position, you should probably know what you've got. A career backup pretending to be a starter and a rookie that, after that performance, is probably more work than he's even worth as a backup. If he executes the offense like the coaching staff thought he could, that's probably a close game even with a couple of those picks. And it's not all bad, you may have lit a fire under Tyrod and he makes himself a more attractive bargaining chip in the offseason. But after today it's safe to say the QB position will be completely different come training camp.
  8. My thoughts were, play him. If he looks great, maybe you can build around him, if he's only so-so you bring in competition but maybe not sell the farm to do so, if he sucks, time to trade up and get THE guy. So I'm confused how I'm wrong. So again, go !@#$ yourself.
  9. How about go !@#$ yourself. It was a good decision, Tyrod sucks.
  10. It's a hot take to say both played like ****? Yea, it's hot alright, a hot steaming pile of ****.
  11. So every turnover turns into a punt. The Chargers might only have scored 40, you're right.
  12. Tyrod doesn't win this game. The offense still struggled even after the Chargers had gone home. Nothing fixes this team, we got lucky with turnovers at the beginning of the year and that luck has run out.
  13. Lose 40-3, just don't you dare turn that ball over. Gotta keep those stat lines looking good.
  14. Tyrod is gonna start but honestly, what difference does it make at this point. He's only good for about 14 points a game and the D is giving up 45.
  15. Taylor sucks less than a rookie making his first start. Well boy howdy, I guess that's something.
  16. I like how they hold the worst rushing team in the league to 29 yards and everyone here loses their minds, giving Dareus all the credit. The Bills played that same team with Dareus and gave up almost 100 yards on the ground.
  17. If he can't read a defense all a strong arm means is that maybe the DB he just threw it to might have a harder time holding onto the pick.
  18. And other people with contacts around the league (guys that write for a living) are saying exactly what I and other people here are saying. And again, how things ACTUALLY played out in real life sides with that story. Your whole "I know people" shtick is cute and all, but it flies in the face of reality. He's a below average QB who wanted to start. Anywhere else he went, he would have to compete to gain the starting position. I would imagine he was also being offered less than what the Bills restructured deal came out to be or else why the hell would he stay? Are you really trying to tell me that Tyrod was treating the Bills as a charity case? Please. It's a business. If you get more money elsewhere, you go elsewhere. Especially when you're a marginal player like Tyrod.
  19. Except he was allowed to test the market, and here he is. Maybe in your version of reality it's false, but all the facts say the opposite.
  20. Tyrod wanted to start. Bills were the only team dumb enough to agree to it.
  21. The only thing that matters is your ability to read defenses and anticipate throws. How many "physically gifted" QBs have we seen come and go in the league and never amount to anything? People always think they are going to create some metric or find some statistic that's going to prove this or that about a guy. It's NEVER going to happen. Football has been around for more than 100 years and no one has come up with it yet.
  22. IF they felt differently he wouldn't have been a Buffalo Bill this year. He's an expensive backup.
  23. Ed Norton Tom Hanks John Cusak Actress varies.
  24. More interested in whoever comes out of Minnesota.
