  1. Trent was good when he threw. He was a pure passer. But he was just as scared to throw as Tyrod is.
  2. I don't know what the NFL can do but man, you'd like to see something done about a player getting choke slammed onto the turf like that. That was way beyond just a tackle.
  3. Turnovers are a luck thing, not a skill thing. Otherwise every team would have multiple turnovers a game. You are assuming he throws picks against us but maybe he doesn't. Then what? The offense sucks. Too many games with 3 points this year. No other team would be talking about "Bortles beat us with his legs." They would've won the game only allowing 10 points.
  4. Sorry but I'll take Bortles running for his life over Bortles passing all over the field. He starts throwing, we start playing that soft zone and then Fournette starts running all over us. The gameplan was perfect, you can't expect a better performance from the defense than what you got today. The offense sucked, just like it sucked against Carolina earlier in the year, losing 9-3.
  5. You put a spy on him, you give him more time in the pocket and an opportunity to find the open man. Unlike Tyrod, Bortles has proven that he can beat you through the air sometimes. The defense yielded 10 points on the road in the playoffs. Bortles running for 80 yards was not the difference in the game.
  6. He gets lots of credit for not throwing picks but leads the league in 3 and outs. Punts are turnovers too.
  7. EJ was picked for reasons we will never know.
  8. Definitely not worried about a rookie starting. We won a game with a wide receiver playing QB and went 9-7 despite multiple terrible games from our 7 year vet. Almost any other QB would've had us at 10-6 and would've won that game today.
  9. Getting to the playoffs or even 9-7 without playoffs in a year where the hot take was the team was purposely tanking? I'd say it was a great year for a first year head coach. We're a QB away from winning that game today. Trending upwards for sure.
  10. 21. Mason Rudolph 22. Josh Allen (LB Kentucky)
  11. 1. QB (first round pick and vet free agent) 2. DE (need a real threat on the end, Shaq plays the run and Hughes is extremely over rated)
  12. His lack of arm strength was pretty apparent on that last pass. He's certainly got the mind and the character to play at this level but his arm isn't good enough. Yea, everyone knows every successful QB is selected first overall...
  13. The NFL needs to move on to the college ways. These types of plays need to be reviewed and if intent is obvious the offending player is ejected from the game. That tackle was hard to watch.
  14. Lucky for us, he's one of the worst in the league so it won't be hard to upgrade. A lateral move like Alex Smith? You're mental. Tyrod makes Alex Smith look like Dan Marino.
  15. Passing: 2015: 28th 2016: 30th 2017: 31st See the trend? For reference- Rushing: 2015: 1st 2016: 1st 2017: 6th This was Tyrod's worst season yet, statistically... by 200 yards... he's always been this way, the run game just isn't as good under Dennison.
  16. The thing that really gets me about Tyrod is that, at times, he looks great. The 1st quarter of the Dolphins game he was on fire, on pace for a 300 yard game and then... His biggest flaw is that he is unwilling to step up into the pocket or slide in the pocket. When things get hairy, he turns his back to his receivers and circles out of the pocket rather than stepping up or sliding over. Not only does that hurt him in the pass game but also his ability to run for big gains. If he steps up and he has man coverage and a running lane, that's a 10 - 20 yard rushing play rather than running backwards 10 yards before getting sacked or gaining 5-6 yards on a 10-20 yard run. Most teams play contain against him to keep the edges sealed and if he could just somehow convince himself to step up as that edge rush goes by...
  17. I figured the guy who calls Riveron up in the both also called this guy and suddenly the Pats part of the article was incomplete.
  18. Come back win against the Bucs.
  19. So he doesn't cover the Pats... hmm...
  20. Do you field call and e-mail complaints? "Well, in the old system I could do this this way..." That phrase inspired this thread lol
  21. How many of you have gone through a computer system change at work? We recently changed the software we use for billing, inventory, etc. and man have some of the lifers had a fit about it. Granted it's had it's issues but over all, being someone that had less experience with the old ways, I feel the new system is fine once the bugs are worked out. What's been your experience?
  22. The Darby trade was a good trade. If you're running a system, you need guys that can play in that system. Darby is not a zone corner. It is what it is. I liked the trades because typically we keep someone, push them into a system they can't play and then they walk in free agency. They've done it right for once. A 5th round pick is better than cutting a guy. A 2nd rounder and a good player in return for a mediocre player is a great move.
  23. It's not based on anything. Even the most casual fan could tell you there were plenty of awful teams during the drought. Much worse than this one.
  24. He played like **** against the Jets, 75% of his stats cam in the last 6 minutes of that game when the Jets had already blown us out.
  25. Yea all those starts Tyrod had before he came to Buffalo... Who the !@#$ cares? You're wrong, you know you're wrong but you keep talking. Nothing you've said has any importance or basis in reality. It's all hindsight bull **** and you'd be licking McDermott's feet if he put Peterman in and he won out and earned us a 3rd seed.
