  1. Gotta have a dance partner. Browns aren't moving out of 1. Giants might move but they don't have to either. It's not Madden, the team with the pick doesn't HAVE to trade anything, no matter what is offered.
  2. He's proven that he can catch the deep ball and that he's not going to risk himself over the middle or sacrifice to make a catch. He's admitted to quitting on plays. His attitude towards fans is pretty poor. Hopefully he doesn't screw it up with his third team, keeps playing like he has been and I don't think he will see another payday.
  3. Beane has personally scouted Darnold so I'm gonna go with Darnold being number 1 on their board.
  4. What? Ok I'm done talking to you because I don't think you even know what the hell you're saying, you're just being contrarian. My point at the very beginning is that Alex Smith had one of the best records in the league and they're jumping ship to start Mahommes. We aren't KC. We are ditching a middling under performing quasi QB for the future. There is no point to starting a guy like McCarron if we draft Rosen or Darnold. You said we would be KC. We aren't. We won't. I think you may have flipped something.
  5. A 2nd round pick that will most likely be used to move up and select a QB 3rd overall. Hmmm, Sammy Bustkins? Or Top tier rookie QB, which the Bills haven't had since Kelly? Bye Sammy.
  6. Instead of volunteers, maybe we need to pre select from people like this. Once he goes through a fiery table, maybe he won't get so touched on the internet.
  7. It's strange he doesn't see the fallacy he's created. Jamarcus Russell should still be in the league and winning Super Bowls if pay determines greatness.
  8. We had a game changing receiver, huge guy named Benjamin who made a living catching jump balls in the endzone for touchdowns in Carolina. Our pee wee QB threw it at his knees with the game very much winnable. And a contract for Sammy means nothing. Pay doesn't determine who the best is, the numbers do. And he isn't the best. He's not even top 10.
  9. There are other possibilities, they just aren't as viable, that's all. Say we struggle this year, would you rather watch the rookie go 7-9 or a guy like Matt Moore? And this isn't the old NFL. Coaches and GMs don't have time to wait for a guy to slowly come a long on the bench and that's why you're seeing what's happening in KC.
  10. If we go up to 3 and draft Darnold or Rosen, I would expect to see them start day 1 and have the vet as an insurance plan. They'll be running a college friendly system. Rosen especially is known for his ability to read the field and completes over 60% of his passes against the blitz. I don't think Bills fans will stand for anything less than the rookie starting on opening day.
  11. Bradford is going to the Cardinals. Beane will be all in on climbing as far as he can in the draft and signing a guy like Matt Moore or Derek Anderson or maybe McCaron depending on the contract.
  12. I've always advocated putting together the best possible team. I bet Alex Smith would've liked to have Watkins last year, seems they were always devoid of talent at the position. I'm just wary of annointing any QB the Chosen One until they you know, play a couple NFL games first.
  13. Too bad EJ and JP didn't get that memo. Hopefully the new guy understands.
  14. The crazy part of the situation in KC is Mahommes hasn't proven jack ****.
  15. And you gotta think that the guy high on Mahommes last year, who's now in Cleveland, is loving his opportunity to draft a guy like Allen.
  16. Rosen at 3, the Giants are going defense with either Fitzpatrick or Chubb.
  17. Nah Browns will take him at 4 and groom him.
  18. Then Mayfield = Manziel. Really if you want to draw an apt comparison Rosen is actually Jay Cutler. The question is does he have a better attitude.
  19. I still do. Eli is highly underrated. You can't look at this past season and proclaim he's terrible. That's short sighted and ignorant. Half the team was on IR. He's won the big game, he's had great seasons and he's been let down by the complete lack of any kind of running game the past few years. Any QB sturggles when the team is one dimensional.
  20. *ring* Cleveland Browns: Front office. Buffalo Bills: How do you feel about trading the #1 overall pick? CLE: No way, gotta have Barkley to hide Tygod's inability to throw the football, like you guys did with McCoy. BUF: Fair enough. *ring* New York Giants: Front office. BUF: So what do you want for the #2 overall pick? NYG: Not for sale, have you seen our secondary? Neither have we, we're afraid they're missing. We're taking Minkah Fitzpatrick at #2 and hoping that he can play safety and corner at the same time. And that's how the Bills get to pick whoever they want at 3 and Cleveland still gets the guy they want (Allen) at 4.
  21. So just two Super Bowls during a Hall of Fame career? Shucks. Rosen had a bigger comeback than Reich when he was in Miami. It's called foreshadowing people. Plus he's really the only QB that I've seen that can alter his throwing motion and deliver an accurate ball. No broken mechanics, accuracy problems or size issues. He completes over 60% of his passes when facing the blitz. Sign me up.
  22. Large catch radius you say? We do have Benjamin and Clay... I'd take a guy that's done it for a year over a guy that's never done it. Keenum has been working at being a starter since he came in to the league. He's only a one year wonder if he flames out this year and there was really no sign of that happening by the end of last year.
