  1. I keep seeing Favre comparisons so maybe a lot of you are too young to have seen Steve Young play. Because that's who Josh reminds me of more than anyone.
  2. So between Phillips, Star and Lawson all being gone from last year's D Line, you don't see an issue with the defense and none of those players missing, especially the guy who could get to the QB and blow up some of that play action. Well ok then lol.
  3. You and me both bud. Now all I need is some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures and cartoons on Saturday morning .
  4. He put pressure on the QB, something we are also struggling with.
  5. No way I'd get rid of Milano. Put him out there with Dodson where he only has to play his responsibilities and not Edmunds' also.
  6. I'm fine with this because from my point of view, Oliver is trending towards bust. You see what Donald did today? That's what Oliver is allegedly capable of. Where is it?
  7. Edmunds needs to put on 20 lbs and play DE. His body type makes it impossible for him to get his pads lower than a 5' 9" running back. He's excellent in coverage and with his speed he showed he's a tremendous threat from the outside anytime they put him there in a blitz package. Being young just isn't an argument anymore. This is his 3rd season and his gap integrity and tackling has not improved. I'd much rather have Dodson in the middle. Start moving Edmunds around the field.
  8. No Star. No Jordan Phillips. No light coming on for Oliver or Edmunds. No Norman. Even when they were blitzing they weren't getting home and that is a bad sign. And the run defense is just non-existent. Not good when playing a team like the Titans in couple weeks.
  9. This is going to be a squishing of the fish that we have not witnessed in some time.
  10. I laughed.
  11. Wings in the air fryer with some Anchor Bar sauce and Wegmans frozen pizzas. I can at least lure my non-loving football family into the room for a few minutes while the game is on. 😆
  12. Looks like the process was on break when they drafted this kid.
  13. Well until we are fully into testing everyone for antibodies we actually don't know who was affected the worst. What we're seeing in NYC and other places could even be the so called 2nd wave of this disease. If it had originated literally anywhere else I'd put a lot more stock into our current numbers but because it originated in China I am thinking we are 4-8 months behind this disease.
  14. You've got think that if this virus occurred naturally and began to spread, it must've been a couple months of severe illnesses before someone was even brave enough to look into it in China, let alone warn the outside world. I think the big mistake is people looking at this situation as if we discovered this strain of coronavirus the moment it transferred from one human to the next.
  15. My thinking is the antibody research is going to show that this virus originated in the fall of 2019 at the latest, most likely earlier than that. So you figure you have a minimum of 3 months of unrestricted travel all across the globe. Rome, Paris, London, NYC and Madrid. Not only major global destinations but also hubs for international travel.
  16. He made Phillipe Franks look like he might be a viable QB1. Enough said.
  17. 1) Top .01% 2) I bet you still look bad in shorts and can't throw a football 80 yards. 3) I think if you and Pittman are going to have any kind of meaningful relationship you should stop lusting after his father.
  18. Much rather have Van than Justin. Van produced with a sub par QB. He is also the best route runner in this class and a former NFL player's son who is now coaching. He doesn't rely purely on athleticism, he's a student of the game and it shows in game.
  19. Ah yes, you know we're in the thick of the offseason when a thread about two guys standing next to each other at a workout turns into a conspiracy theory and then in that same thread a man is critiquing an elite professional athlete's physique and fitness.
  20. I've watched every game the last two weeks and there is one very apparent thing. Defense is much easier to play than offense.
  21. I don't care what Daboll says, this offense needs an identity. Are we a running team? Are we a passing team? Your identity dictates your play calling. Your identity dictates what other teams must prepare for. Your identity helps to narrow the scope and improve the execution on a week to week basis. You only deviate from that identity when the other team has proven they have answers for what you can execute perfectly. That lack of identity is why his gameday play calling would often go off the rails. The offense didn't have that safety net of a small group of plays that they could typically execute under any circumstance. They didn't have that "base defense" so to speak. If that doesn't get fixed, the results will be the same next year.
  22. My dream scenario for this group is Perriman in free agency and Van Jefferson in the 2nd or 3rd, Gandy-Golden in the 6th.
  23. Hakeem Adeniji would be an interesting pick just because he provides flexibility, which is usually something that is very important with backup offensive linemen. I also feel like those stats you're using are greatly influenced by running Gore for no gain numerous times this year. Devin had the highest YPC of all running backs, definitely says something about the line. Pass protection in this offense is tough also, with very slow developing route trees and poor play calling leading to third and long quite often. That is to say, I think the line remains the same outside of a rookie in the mid to later rounds.
  24. Baffles me that no one on the board is interested in Arik Armstead.
