I had not considered a situation where the wild card was wrapped up before the NE game without the division still being in play. I though being selfish hope that last game is for the division since it is first game I will be at in buffalo since 2000.
Truly just hope we win each week- if we win out we have the tiebreaker over Pat's* since we would have one loss to NFC and they would have two to AFC. Ideally in the semi realistic realm- KC beats Pat's and our only loss is the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and we beat both Ravens and Pat's* since we would then get one seed in AFC.
Watching this highlight reel I realized we got lineman that are good at pass blocking and getting into space but not power rushing. I think(hope) Daboll is slowly working the game plan to benefit the lines strengths. Because we can not plow at the point of attack.
You mean the 2-6 Browns who just lost to the 2-5 Broncos who were starting a QB who has never been on an NFL field previously? I understand the Bills are not the best ever but our must not watch much football.
You also did not ask about what his assignment is for each play- which is very important. He might be doing one job very well but not another and we will never know
It is really hard to catch a ball while your feet are being pulled out from under you- I am usually a WR must catch a ball guy but that one is virtually impossible to blame WR
Who is good in NFL then besides undefeated? The Cowboys lost to the Jets, the entire AFC has issues, I think there are only about 6 good teams who we have to improve to beat but I think we go as Josh does
I agree with what it sounded like on TV but it must have to do with placement of mics around stadium because there were not nearly as many Eagles fans as Bills fans in Tennessee.
I agree but Ted Washington was as dominate a Dline player as we have seen. That is like saying I would prefer Thurman to what we have in the backfield now.
I know I do not see all your posts but all of the ones I see are extremely negative. I would not want to watch sports if 5-2 is a reason to bash the team simply because the last two SB winners beat us. I do not think this is the year but it has been fun to win.
He is definitely better than Gordon but his cost is probably much higher also. Especially since Jets would need to eat the entire signing bonus, so I doubt it happens.
We seem to be good at half time adjustments but not so good at adjustments on the fly- I am surprised more teams do not do different game plans by half against us.
Hapless well said but why let idiots in the media bother you? I can manipulate numbers all over the place to make any argument I want so let them cherry pick what they want.
I had no idea he was this reliable- due to lack of break away speed he seldom has that run where you are blown away but Everytime he touches it I expect him to do well and a consistent 4 yds is better for this offense then 0 yds give times then 25 yds.
When I read the line" saw him live once" thought you meant Frank Gore and I was thinking for a moment his career has been longer than I realized if he played in the 90's.
For a defense as good as ours it is surprising to me that it has been so long. I believe the Bears had 5 or 6 last year and there defense was not that much better than ours.
I would definitely be interested in Williams for a third or less- he is playing for a contract and I think pairing him with Oliver on pass downs could be great. His contract is not an issue and if he leaves we likely get at least a 4th in comp.
I have never been that impressed with Goff- also I expect Allen for the last 8 games this year to have better numbers than he currently has produced since he is clearly getting smarter.
