The biggest issue with the CFP is they change the criteria after they select who they want. One year only conference champs, then later it is " best resume", last year it was " 4 best teams". If they simply laid out the requirements the lesser teams wpuld change to try and help their cause. In the basketball at least they lay out what they choose based on- i do not agree with all the criteria but at least i know.

My only issue with your statement is you are calling him horrible for what might be a quick swat on the butt. I understand 25 years ago there were more problems with children being disciplined too much but now i see more issues with parents not disciplining. First off you sound like a good parent- you determined what works based on your individual kids. I will assure you though the few times i got spanked as a kid made an impact on me.

I am certainly not betting on Bills making run even if given 1000-1 odds- i am simply old enough to remember odd things happening. I was reminded today that in 2004 we were 3-6 and ran the table until the last day and were beat by Pitts backups.

Most likely you are correct but this is a funny league and i have seen some odd things happen- including a bills coach say neither team that played that day had a shot at the playoffs and then the team that beat us did make the playoffs.

What I think most teams do is add a few points to a position of need but are not going to jump much-basically they might take at 12th who they think is really 15th best but not going to jump them from 20

Allen is a high ceiling guy in the future but he was not polished coming in, to make a determination now is the definition of shortsighted. The vast majority of players take more than 4 games to get good-some take years so maybe slow the firing squad.

As a kid my family had season tickets to the Army football games and have watched as much as possible since and find this stat sad. Army last year won multiple games with only a few completions so the fact our offensive is more ground based than theirs when the NFL is built to not allow that is pathetic.

When you have about 1/3 of your total salary cap in dudes who dont play for you anymore then it will be a long season. In order for the Bills to be competitive week in and week out they would need everyone to outplay their contracts- the issue i have with the way the bills cut everyone is that we will have restart next year with a lot of new players and the NFL does best with continuity.

I have not watched any game live this year, except for my brothers bday because he asked me to with him, because i knew this team would be frustrating to watch and we would likely be at 5 wins all year. I expect big progressions next but can not spend my emotional capital on a rebuilding year. This team will be better next year- i bet 10 wins- but right now i am expecring poor play overall.

I agree with most of your points but fans do not need to defend their turf and fans should not attack players even if they go into stands.

I think all players are on the market while McBeane is in charge. he seems willing to trade anyone if he is getting a proper return, so the only player not on market is Allen.

I think the NFL will allow the London franchise to have a bump in the salary cap to entice them to go if the franchise initially has problems getting players to go to London. I though do think that many players would love the idea of going overseas to play for a similar salary after taxes especially considering the potential for endorsements if they get good. If the NFL does move the franchise it will be as important the Cowboys in that the NFL needs it work and become an icon brand.

I agree with what you are saying but i do think that the money he got to go to LA was more than he was worth to us with our running focused game. But for the OP to say sammy got good after leaving is just stupid- he is on pace in a high flying offense to be worse than he was when he was healthy here.

Agreed on both- but near the bottom offensively is not same as being the bottom and our D is quite good- basically we are a 4-12 talent that will get to 7-9 due to good coaching.

Has arizona changed there scheme since he was drafted? He always seemed like a guy who would fit a pretty specific role to me.( i only saw him in college a few times)

Not to argue your overall point but the talent on this team is better than many give it credit for- we are below nfl average talent overall but not 2008 lion bad.

Santoras is really good on both accounts and i personally recommend the one across from UB north where the person picking the beer selection is very good at that job!!

Espn also sent out a update that the final was 12-10. This is certainly just being very lazy but from multiple sources racing to be first not accurate.

I wish i could argue with you but after last year the fact he still has same position tells me they are ok with his absurd rulings. I read that this year he would only overturn obvious mistakes and yet here we are again. I am watching much more college this year since i do not understand basic concepts in the NFL anymore based on his rulings.

You point out something that might be lost without a big picture perspective- hughes is worthless if they can regularly double team him. Star is useful in making others around him have one on one matchups but if they do not win one on one then he is useless.

The rule does state inadvertent should not be flagged- so that would mean the call should only happen when a dude is acting like Burfect- which is seldom- but the call happens a lot.
