Uncle Joe is that you? Are you at the bar already? ?

I think the only cratering home prices will be major cities, the rest of country will probably just stay level until next year. As for retiring in Florida much of the movement is due to so much free time when you retire. In Florida even on hot days you can go golf at 630 am as my grandfather did almost everyday. In Buffalo that free time during winter can become rough.

The Deep State War Heats Up

Why not Burr also? I am not condoning their actions but I thought insider trading did not apply to politicians? I know many senators make buys based on what they are about to do. -
In central Florida with over 5 million residents we just had our 200th death from Corona. I will not blast politicians for the initial shut down but at this point everyone except for high density cities should be reopened and trying to make up for lost time. The experiment is not complete by any standard- we will only have an answer about it in about 18 more months and I will wait to see. The earliest we could make a decision is when the vaccine is ready.

Having an open can of beer is illegal- I think. At that point I am not sure the NFL needs to be in involved but some community service would be good.

I will agree- I had only read the version in between his legs- If it was in passengers side door and he was below BAC then I hope he has no punishment. If either is true a small punishment is due

Did he have an open beer? That alone speaks to making a bad decision and is illegal. If he learns from this I will not bash him since no one got hurt.

I have to qualify what I am about to say- I believe Cuomo is incompetent not evil and I do not think he made his decisions with an inappropriate intent but what would you do differently if your intent was to eliminate as many of the poor from NYC than what he did? Between the subways and assisted living he ensured as many poor people as possible were in contact with the virus as possible.

I was gonna guess a condo but not St John's. The HOA fees on some condos are very high. In fact down by Miami I am seeing condos for 150,000 with HOA fees approaching 1K a month. Also hurricane insurance for a beach condo is very high, I should probably be more specific, move to Orlando where I live.

come to florida-everything you mention we are great in. Our property taxes are low, our income tax is 0% and our weather is great 8 months a year. When my friends who still live in WNY ask how I deal with the heat I have one answer "Buffalo temperature range is -10 to 80 while mine is 40 to95, 55 degrees is easier to get use to than 90" If you want more sales points let me know, I literally have convince about one of my relatives a year to move. Many part of Florida are not cheap as an initial investment but over time it is a better deal. Since the taxes are so much lower a $1500 monthly mortgage in Orlando gets you a $250,000 home including taxes- in NY that gets you less than $200,000. I am curious which part of Florida you were in?

Football in a pandemic era. It’s been done before..

I will not respond after this because you and I have stated our cases and I will give you the last word. Current "hard" numbers are basically worthless and it is like predicting an NFL season based on one game. I wish you a good night. -
Chiefs and Mahomes extension 40MM per year?
Orlando Buffalo replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
40 million to Mahomes seems insane until you think about what average QBs get. If so many can get 25+ then he might be worth it -

https://in.dental-tribune.com/news/new-estimate-by-the-cdc-brings-down-the-covid-19-death-rate-to-just-0-26-as-against-whos-3-4/ You say 6% the CDC says less than 1%, who should I believe? -

I am sorry that my actual understanding of stats makes you feel that I am arguing a difficult point. You have one stat and are running with it as if it matters and confusing it with an actual death rate. You tried to act like you were quoting the CDC but they estimate the death rate is well less than 1%, which is what I linked for you earlier. Please stop saying the death rate is 6% because no one with any understanding of stats or how viruses work agree. -

Dude stop arguing- it is pointless. He is basically stating he has one stat and he will ride that stat no matter how incomplete it is or worthless it is in the long run. -

Johnny they only gave tests to people who were in bad shape until about 3 weeks ago. I am not understanding your attacks on everyone who understands math and stats. I will make a literal bet with you of $1000 that the final number will be less than 2% mortality rate. But before you take me up on the bet please look ath this link. https://in.dental-tribune.com/news/new-estimate-by-the-cdc-brings-down-the-covid-19-death-rate-to-just-0-26-as-against-whos-3-4/ -

In your original post you stated global not CDC which is US only- I double checked just to be sure. Second no one believes that even the majority of people who got it were tested. Your 6% is based on the smallest sample size with only the people who had it the worst.
