The law banning gun manufacturers from civil suits is unconstitutional. The reason it was passed is because it’s obvious these companies are selling human killing devices.

I hope the Dems repeal that horrible law

So someone uses a product to harm another in a manner that the product is not meant and the company is responsible? You are a lawyers best friend, good hearted but unable to put any intelligent thought into it.

Most likely someone thought she was hot and put in place as a placeholder but forgot to remove it. Years ago I received an email for a convention where the keynote speaker was an attractive woman and the person put in a little comment about it in a juvenile way. About 4 minutes later I recieved the retraction but it was already put there.

People who strictly seek out news sites that reinforce their political views are pawns. Lemmings, if you will.

I agree with the statement but your posts seem to be very one sided- is there any positions you take that democrats disagree with?

First is just recognizing it’s a problem.  What my daughter would tell you is just that acknowledging it’s an issue is a big step forward.  So if you know someone who is of Asian descent, ask them how they’re feeling, or if there is anything you can do even if it’s just providing a sympathetic ear.

Second, if you see or hear anti-Asian behavior in your community or workplace, speak up.  Don’t let it slide.  The increased level of incidents against Asian Americans is due in part to them being considered a silent minority.  It is felt that Asians are the successful minority and thus have no problems - that is untrue.  Asian American women in particular are singled out as sex objects by many men - my daughter shared a term for that which just stunned me.  In her community it is called “yellow fever”.

Google AAPI (PI being people of Pacific Island descent) and there are organizations that describe other ways all of us can help.

Of course it is wrong to attack someone without provocation regardless of race. This is not just an Asian problem, it is a problem with people not respecting others rights as American citizens. This dude should be found guilty and stuck I jail for a long time, preferably until dead. In 2020 homicides jumped 30% in this country and everyone needs to be more on edge in cities. I am sorry that your daughter feels unsafe but the women being sexualized has been a long time in the works and is just gotten progressively worse.

How did I lie about you? You made a claim and I called you out on it based on your rationale of what transpired in Georgia.

You claim, without proof; that I support killing humans. I never ever once said that and asked that you document where I did.

You said I made an excuse for this murderer in ATL. Also I never said you support killing humans, I stated you support murderers who are liberal.

Racism and misogyny go hand in hand. But is sex addiction he cause of violence? Or was it an act of vengeance against the women he blamed for tempting him?

Either way, he did not see those women as human beings. If what he says is true, his desire to be pure was more important than their lives.

And he choice to murder these women was clearly rooted in a deep hatred of them.  Was it only because of their race? No. It's not mutually exclusive.

Was he choice to frequent Asian massage parlors to satisfy his sexual cravings racist in and of itself? No. But was punishing these women with death deeply racist and mysoganynist because he didn't like the fact that he acted out on sexual urges he didn't like? I'm going to go with yes.

So you believe that if it was while women working in these parlors they would all be alive?

    Please quote me.

To what benefit? You just lied about me and will continue to lie.

  7. I am amazed by the number of people who claim the evidence presented so far does not indicate this was violence against sex workers compared to violence against asians. Not only has the killer stated it is due to them being sex workers, he killed 8 people but only 6 were asian. If he wanted to kill as many asians as possible he would have gone to a korean shop. Is it possible it was due to race? Of course since a lot of evidence is not in the public yet but all the dead are related to massage parlors but not all are asian.

I think it's probably right. Self-hatred because his "addiction" conflicted with his religious beliefs. The kid is mess up, surely.

That said, perhaps he's saying his motivations weren't racial to avoid the hate crime charges? Anyone who says they know for sure or take the murderer at his word at this point probably has an agenda.

taking a murder at his word about motivation is taking the obvious evidence, anyone who says the murderer is lying about motivation without evidence is working from an agenda.

Thank god the country only had to deal with the former for four years - his stain is haunting the GQP... forever.

I truly ask you BT, why is NY better than Florida? I thought you could come up with some reason, no matter how stupid or communist.

  10. I am curious if anyone can give me any reason why I should move back to NY from Orlando. Even without family being an issue I currently have more freedom, better weather, better gun laws, better education system for my children, better taxes (both income and property), more diversity and better roads. I at this point can not imagine anyone who does not make decisions based primarily on political decisions moving that way. I am completely serious I can not come up with one, and to any that want to argue education FL past NY 20 years ago and the gap has widened.

Ex-Florida Senator Charged in Fake Candidate Scheme

A former Florida state Republican senator has been charged with three criminal counts involving a sham candidate intended to siphon votes away from a Democratic incumbent.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — A former Florida state Republican senator was charged Thursday with three criminal counts involving a sham candidate intended to siphon votes away from a Democratic incumbent

If found guilty then put him jail. I will not defend him, but isn't the overall accusation the basis of "the distinguished gentlemen" about the stupidity of voters? Makes it seem easy to fool democrats.

The stories seem consistent with a pattern of behaviour. Even if first impressions are that the lawyer involved is a bit of a publicity seeker himself it doesn't look good for Watson. Inclined to believe there is some fire with this smoke.

I am still suspicious of the lawyer, simply giving a bunch of women similar stories is not enough for me, though a lot of stuff apparently went through twitter and Instagram and the big facts for me:

    1) did he hire all of his massages once per person? If I need a massage and have a good person I go back repeatedly

    2) did he only get them at home or were these supplemental to his ones at the facilities?

    3) how did he find these women? If all these women were found on instagram and they can show he only found them there he will have a hard time explaining this.

I in general do not trust lawyers like this guy but if he has done this 9+ times the pattern should be able to be shown with a digital trail- it does not need to be every girl but at least a few.

I’d rather look at teams like NE, Ravens and the Chiefs that have always had a good emphasis on special teams as teams you want to model yourself against.

Good ST helps you win games. Bad ST can definitely lose you some games, see the Chargers as a terrific example of that.

This is it- we won't win many games based on special but you can certainly lose them. Mckelvin comes to mind along with the NE game in 2019 with the blocked punt.

look, this business is about subscribers.

I was raised catholic and then shut down when I started asking ‘why’ and the answers were wrote BS with no good answers. Hypocrisy was rife. later on after tepidly rejecting the system, My wife being  Jewish- even that was a ‘problem’

Sin? Any intercourse not intent on procreation is a mortal sin. Let’s call all of those out that engage in this travesty out into the street and stone them!

Bottom line is, religion is good, because it keeps the god fearing flock on the straight and narrow and invokes the ‘hell eternity’ fear of doing bad things and teaches being good to others.

As the general education level of society rises, they need to evolve with it or become obsolete. being inclusive is such an easy win for these religions to bring in more to the flock.

It’s not ones fault you are biochemically attracted to whomever you are just the same for everyone else.

I rarely get irritated, but I’m really tired of institutions treating really good people living their life as defective when they contribute 10 times more to society than the dissenters.

I am still catholic but agree with on thing you say absolutely- treating good people as a problem makes you weaker. I want as many good people on my side as possible. Our current Pope has spent a lot of time "shaking up" our traditions and is very open about believing government is good, how he is open about the rest but draws the line on tradition here is mind boggling.
