Pete Hegseth: CONFIRMED as Secretary of Defense
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If he is still drinking I have an issue but don't care in the least if he once did, if he is currently sleeping around I care but I don't care if he once did so long as it has ended. If a man is currently dressing as a woman and making people call him ma'am I care, but not if he did before. There are issues that matter only in the moment, and the ones you matter for a long time, such as real rape allegations, or taking advantage of under age girls, but as I stated nothing he did previously is overly concerning so long as it is a past action -
OT: what did you think of the hit on Lawrence?
Orlando Buffalo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
That hit was at minimum trying to send a message, at worst trying to injured. The message the guy sent is that he can't be trusted and CJ Stroud must be thinking that if he does it again the other defense might come for him -

I will assume you have never been divorced if you believe a mother would not say those things if she thought her grandkids were being harmed by her sons behavior. I know multiple men who cheated and each of their mothers ripped into them harshly, but none of them published it in the NYT. You have to wonder what kind of women would give that information to someone trying to destroy her child. -

Your point of how I know the information is garbage, any change of 99% from a historically relative constant measure is going to have an obvious cause, and likely multiple minor causes. I can not find the rate from last year, not sure where you found it, did it pop back to the 15-20% mark? -
Pete Hegseth: CONFIRMED as Secretary of Defense
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I won't defend Gaetz because I don't like him and I don't think he was ever a serious candidate, I think Trump put him up so the Dems would fire their missiles so he could get Pam Bondi through unscathed. As for Hegseth the only believable accusations is he had an affair, which is a bad thing but hardly new for a politician. If you believe something else about him I would be interested in that I might have missed a believable accusation. I will state though when your side just gave carte blanche to all the crimes committed for a decade by known criminal it is hard for you to accuse us of defining it down. -
President Biden pardons his son, Hunter.
Orlando Buffalo replied to Beast's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It is nice of Biden to confirm that the DOJ has been very political while he has been in office. He should probably tell his press secretary that info. -

It is always funny to hear this from the party that literally told me that Clinton's rape claims were lies, and whether he took advantage of a 21 year old intern was a distraction. As for Trump's sexual assault allegation I have looked into ECarrol Jean and believe she lied about every part of her testimony. It is fascinating to see someone who believes a 30 year old allegation without any evidence the people ever met but reject 3 month old evidence from a person who can prove they were in the same hotel room. -
Do you think the lady who slept her way up the ladder for her first 10 years and then got 0 votes to become the nominee is the example of virtue? Or was it the 1500 people she put in jail for minor weed violations? https://freebeacon.com/politics/kamala-harris-blames-weed-arrests-for-mass-incarceration/

Hahahahahahahaha hahaha There is no way she seriously that anyone with an ounce of intelligence believes her, but she will always have NY Dems.

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Orlando Buffalo replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I don't mean to be totally a jerk but why did you argue with me? The numbers don't add up but you argued that everything was normal. The numbers are garbage, regardless of what anyone says, but why are they garbage? If they are garbage because the procedure changed caused it I will accept that, but 3 years without an explanation should not be accepted by smart people. -
I am going to throw out a thought I had watching Bears game. If Caleb wanted Eberflus out what better way than intentionally doing what he did at the end? If Bears win that game Eberflus gets at least one more game most likely, so if you don't like him screw up the way Caleb did. I know he is a rookie but my high schoolers would not have done that.

I think the Chiefs rely on him less than the Bills rely on Josh, I think they would still be a quality opponent of he went down if they had two weeks to prep for the begining of playoffs.

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Orlando Buffalo replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
In regards to the flu,you do research at a medical center, see a 99% drop in a relatively constant stat, while knowing protocols were changed, and don't think that the process that was changed clearly was done poorly? You think it is a conspiracy to point out those numbers are garbage? With your job also then should know the federal government offered funds to cover COVID costs in 2020 and 2021 therefore every hospital wanted people who were there to have COVID, because it meant everyone was being paid for. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/nation/federal-funds-for-uninsured-covid-patients-dry-up-as-hospital-costs-rise -

Are you actually unaware that hospitals changed procedures during COVID? If so I can't go through all this with you because your ignorance is astonishing -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Orlando Buffalo replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
you are arguing that it is a conspiracy that we tested asymptomatic people. You are arguing that it is conspiracy that hospitals changed protocols to get more money from the government. Since you believe those two things no one can help you because it happened, it is well documented, and you don't want it to be true because Trump exists. BTW, I have stated several times I don't blame the healthcare workers, but government, and the workers did as told. -
Raiders @ Chiefs — Black Friday — 3 PM Eastern — Prime Video
Orlando Buffalo replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall
The officials at the end were pathetic, they blew the play dead and then let the play count. I doubt the Raiders hit the FG but that was unacceptable and also why people think the game is rigged. That level of incompetence should cost them their jobs -

Orlando Buffalo replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Why are you calling it a conspiracy that the government told hospitals to change their protocols in 2020-2021? You are so afraid of being called a conspiracy theorist that you refuse to even ask questions on what is clearly an impossibility, to accept that the rate dropped 99% without an explanation 3 years later is not a conspiracy, it is likely incompetence but it is unacceptable to just accept. -

Did not think about that, but probably true. -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
Orlando Buffalo replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I recognize you are not responsible for them but those stats don't make any sense, why are we testing 1000 people and only having 2 be ill? Did everyone in medical care forget how to diagnose an illness? Reading what you wrote you seem to don't realize that the illness rate dropped 99%, from 17% to .15% -

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5013304-democrats-2028-presidential-contenders/ Of those listed I think Shapiro has a shot, I don't think the rest can appeal to normal Americans. I think the Republican bench is much deeper with Vance, DeSantis, Youngkin, even Haley. -
Every law not in the Constitution is potentially temporary because we change lawmakers in DC every two years. The fact that there is no easy solution to the border does not mean the Dems have not turned it into a cluster for 3 years. Your entire statement is arguing vs strawmen because your side is worked to help sex traffickers when Trump wants to stop them.
-
Congressional action is also temporary because the next group in 2 years can change it just as quickly. Chi, if you admit our border situation was a cluster from 2021-2024 you need to ask yourself why. The fact that you recognize immigration is a complex topic is not an excuse for the crap show that existed the past few years, especially when you point out Congress did nothing this year but the situation is already 75% better.
-
Your mocking me when you keep contradicting yourself is fun. We both agree the problem improved dramatically since June, we both agree that Congress had nothing to do with it, we both agree that Biden rescinded all of Trump's rules, but you seem to have an issue rectifying two points: how did Biden fix so much of the problem without Congress since he can't do anything without Congress? And now you add in the brain dead concept that any law in the US can not be overturned tomorrow, except for what is in the Constitution. Reading this thread is showing me the concept that when a person is lied to repeatedly and often they react one of two ways: either get mad at those who lied to them( media and politicians) or double down on the lie so they don't have to admit being wrong. Usually the second version is more common in people who were willing dupes.

Thanksgiving Day football, no Bills talk
Orlando Buffalo replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I watched Detroit and this one in GB, and if I am a casual fan I would be out with the officiating be far too involved
