Diggs might be a great WR a some point. Who are the other 2?? Brown and Beasley? Come on..
Great RB? He had 12.5 caries a game and even at that led the league in % carries fumbled.
Wow- I will not argue because if you are always going to be a pessimist I can't win- 10-6 then without any good players on offense is your argument?

It’s very frustrating.
The priority is always defense over offense.
That is ridiculous- we have 3 good to great recievers, a great running back, a QB who is expected to be great and lots of depth along the line. The offense does not get priority in drafting but in free agency.

Lol We are in win now mode right nowI guarantee you Dobbins would have been a FAR more productive player these next 2 years than Epenesa
We are hopefully in win for 20 years mode- but I expect you are fully correct about Dobbins and if you are wrong it mean AJ is better than we thought.

How many starts is this guy even going to get next season ?
Ed Oliver hardly played last season and he was a 1st round pick. I don’t understand taking another rotational DL guy
No one we drafted there starts next year without injuries- he will start in two years and be a 3 down end by year three. He is a good pick at that point and will get on the field this year.

At 54, AJ Espensa is a steal. Does that guarantee he will be a stud? No, but value wise, this was a great pick at 54 as most mocks had him going in round 1, and almost all mocks that didn't have us taking a WR at 22 had us taking AJ.
Love this pick. He's a beast.
Now go get AJ Dillon in the 3rd and I will be on cloud 9 until tomorrow.
I assume you watched him- what I read reminds of what I read about Lawson when he came out- is that a good comparison But without the injury?

Big Nickel to me comes from having the right player more than scheme. Though looking at our roster I can see how having another hammering safety to put on field we can run a lot of big nickel especially on second and 8 type situations

tibs you know I am on here once a week for easy entertainment, you literally post more in an hour then I do in a week. Also if you are not a troll I will offer you some perspective- Trump is not always wrong and the Media is not always right. I know the opposite is true also. I just pick my battles.

The disinfectant comment is the definition of the dishonesty of the press- he finished with the doctors should look into that. He was not telling people what works but what should be looked at, which the press then intentionally cut off just so they could say what Trump implied.

I do not think that Tua will be an all-star but I think the comparison is absurd mainly due to mentality of the two off the field. Manziel was a bust and a tire fire for Cleveland while Tua will not be a tire fire even if he is never healthy for more than a few games at a time.

I love my Buckeyes, but passing on a guy like Swift / Dobbins / Akers / Taylor because Carlos Hyde is a FA is just gross.
I would think those dudes would be BPA at our pick but if the Bills do not grade them as highly as we do then BPA regardless of position. The Bills do not see RB as need like we do.
-
I truly think Buffalo goes BPA with exception of DT, we could use an extra depth player everywhere. I definitely do not think they will reach for a RB if he does not grade out since there are so many still available in free agency like Carlos Hyde.

You're assuming that he actually had the virus, and wasn't faking it to try to get ratings. Call me cynical, but I don't trust Cuomo (or CNN) not to pull a stunt.
~80% of cases are mild - at worst. It's interesting that somehow every single CNN personality who supposedly gets the virus almost dies (while chronicling selected portions of their horrible experiences for TV.)
Wow you are even more cynical then me- I had not even thought of that.?

If you read the article the logic does not follow a proper timeline and also ignores the fact the guy probably got it when he was running his bar because NYC was the last City to shut down.

I am wondering why the media is not calling for the firing of Chris Cuomo- he had active Covid 19 and went on a bike ride with his family and was around other people knowing he was going to spread the illness. The dude literally commuted a crime while knowingly endangering the people of NY but they all let it slide because he is a liberal.

Exactly.
Annual salary is one thing, but guaranteed money is what these players really care about.
Throw him a 5 year, $85 mil extension with $46 mil guaranteed and I think he'd sign.
He'd set his family up for life, and if he gets injured and blows out a knee and never returns to form he'll have protected himself.
I think he might do that so definitely try but if not I doubt he sits out.

You do a wonderful job making excuses for Sammy. How can you not hold him to that standard when your GM publicly used the term “generational talent” in nearly every media interview after making the trade?
Was it unreasonable? Maybe, but that was where the bar was set...not by the fan base....by the Buffalo Bills in 2014. He came nowhere close
What makes the selection more disappointing, is the fact that he was severely outperformed by many receivers drafted after him. Not just in Round 1 but in later rounds as well. I don’t feel that asking him to outperform the other WR’s in his class is unreasonable at all.
So happy to see AP writer John Wawarrow include the Sammy trade under the “worst” category in column. I know you love Sammy but this was a terrible move and he did not live up to his hype.
I made no excuses- I admitted he was less than I expected- and you admitted you are unreasonable- I see this as a win for me.? I will not respond anymore because we are walking in circles I agree to disagree.?

Ok It seems like you have a different definition than what I a bust is. To me, it’s a player who drastically doesn’t live up to expectation.Sammy was hailed as a generational talent and while he has shown flashes, the numbers don’t lie - he’s far from generational. At best he’s a capable #2 WR.
I just don’t think you can overlook what they gave up to get Sammy and the opportunities cost as well. They are one in the same.
As I stated prior we do have a different opinion-I think you had a very unrealistic expectation of Sammy. He is less than I expected but a long way from a bust. Anyone who expects "a generational talent" is setting themselves up for a major disappointment.

That doesn’t make the pick a net positive. The Bills could’ve stayed where there at and taken another great WR that year. He still wouldn’t have been “the best player on the field 7 times.”Sammy was such a net positive, they traded him for a fraction of what they paid. Bad pick that really hurt this franchise....badly.
The Goff comparison is very different and not very equitable. QB’s are more valueable than WR’s and always have been. It’s accepted that you have to overpay to trade up for a QB. As Doug Whaley proved, it’s foolish to give up that much draft capital to trade on a WR - especially when your team has no QB.
Sammy was a very bad draft pick.
You just spend a lot of effort to agree with what I said- you hold Sammy responsible for what Whaley traded for him. I do not hold him responsible for it- therefore he is not a bust in my mind.
