To rank AFC East’s secondaries, I looked at two starting outside corners, the primary slot corner and the starting box and free safeties for each team. I added the FLEX position to simply give me a sixth player, acknowledge high rookie draft picks, versatile nickel or dime defenders who don't start or anyone else who I felt needed to be factored into the conversation.

I would argue it is not the strongest positional group in NFL but it is clear that throwing in our division will be tough this year for any QB. It makes me happy we have two RB who I right now trust.

People better than Favre defraud people/states all the time. That being said, I doubt he knew where the money was coming from, but that much for nothing should've at least tipped him off. Even the beloved Rudy got caught scamming people.

He seems like the kind of guy that would be willing to do a lot of things for cash- he was caught using anti semetic language in a cameo, language that a 30 second Google would have shown was questionable. I don't think he asks the questions he needs to ask.

There are very mixed areas around Detroit much like there are around Buffalo.  Michigan like New York is a very nice state with a wide variety of areas throughout the state.  Some very beautiful recreation areas in the norther and western parts of the state and some vibrant areas around Detroit just like Buffalo.  You can have a great life in either place.

I can see how I came off bashing Buffalo- which was not my intention- I love going back to visit. I agree with you about both places.

Been there done that and even gave that information to Billstime with the note: one city does not and area code make.

    Thanks for playing.

While I agree Buffalo is not the be all of 716 it is a relatively poor area of the country with a real city in it. I have been all over this country and I can not think of another area as poor with a similar city.

There will be no fans for one potentially very costly reason.

The legal liability of actively and knowingly bringing large crowds together while a pandemic virus is active, the potential wrongful death lawsuit will hit class action levels and the potential loss of many hundreds of millions of dollar, and personal culpability will be the reason. Rodger Goodell’s and the owners groups asz’s would be on the line.

The NFL would be crazy to allow fans in the stadiums. There is also a very high likelihood that the Governors who have the final say will not allow it to happen.

I am very curious whether the NFL can put a legally binding exemption on their Tix? Can they state you will be packed in and you will probably be exposed to the virus in some way and you are accepting that risk? I will not be going to any packed arenas for a while and I have season Tix to the NBA but that is my choice.

I dont want to pay him $20M/year either, but this does bolster the argument some of us have been making that his market value is indeed closer to $15M/yr than the $8-10M some folks here want to pay him.

With the contracts being given out currently he is definitely in 15 a year category. If he is great this year he might be even higher.

I looked back at the wide receiver stats for the 2019 season to see where our WRs ranked in the three main metrics,  Yards / Receptions / TDs.  The Bills will have three different receivers who were all highly productive in 2019.  When you look at their ranks remember that there are 32 teams in the League and all three of our WRs rank inside the top 32 in every category except for Beasley falling to #38 in yards.

*** Check out the rankings linked to below, they have numerous WR with the same number of TDs clumped together. I'm not sure how they assign individual ranks for WR with the same number of TDs.  That seems a bit arbitrary.

                                 2019 NFL WR RANKINGS

                       YARDS          RECEPTIONS          TDs ***

    Diggs            15                       31                      29

    Brown           19                       22                      26

    Beasley        38                       25                      27

We have gone from a team with arguably the worst WR corps, to one of the best units in the League in two years.  There are weapons all over this offense now who can score points.  Let's hope that Diggs can get similar production with Allen in Buffalo.  If Diggs is even close to his production last year, this offense is going to be exciting to watch.  I think the days of watching "defensive battles" every Sunday is over.

I have been watching some of the 2018 season on replay and I realized that the best reciever on that team would be maybe our 5th best recieving option now and that truly that was the Shady and Josh show the last month of season.

He's very active on Twitter these days. He does a drive-by here on occasion. I've been TBD for probably 20 years with Tom. He comes and goes. But Twitter seems to keep him busy. If you're not following politics, there are a schittton of nerds discussing things he loves...like historic wars, battles, ships, strategies, etc.

Ok- I am not on Twitter so that explains why I don't see him much.
