I have read multiple stories about the reexamination of the origin of Covid which all state "new info" but not one mention what the new info is. Is there anything new? Or is it lack of expected information that caused this?

Yale is so racist that this women gave this speech in April and no one reacted until it was put online and others could hear it. How does a group of people hear someone say they fantasize about killing based on race and have no reaction?

Why do minorities have fewer IDs?
Because a lot of minorities don’t have much use for them. The most common voter ID is a driver’s license, and minorities are less likely to drive. A 2007 study found that in California, New Mexico, and Washington, whites were more likely to have driver’s licenses than nonwhites. In Orange County, Calif., about 92 percent of white voters had driver’s licenses, compared with only 84 percent of Latino voters and 81 percent of “other” voters. A 2005 study of Wisconsin similarly found that while about 80 percent of white residents had licenses, only about half of African-American and Hispanic residents had licenses.Quick one there. Republicans can’t make laws directly discriminatory but they can make laws that target minorities. For example, look at the NC gerrymandering case. They didn’t say hey we’re trying to to discriminate against people of color. Instead they used stats to gerrymander districts to disenfranchise black voters while helping Republican white voters.
You did not answer the question asked because you can't answer it honestly. You instead tried to make a different point with the wrong reason again. Minorities can get an ID as easily as whites, gerrymandering is to help the party in power, and you quoted stats without a source because you know that it is garbage. But to go back to the original point, you are arguing minorites choosing to not get an ID is the equivalent of being denied it, which is where you and I differ greatly.

You need to change your name to the Fonz because you completely jumped the shark there. One has statistics to show it disproportionally affects one race over another. The other is well this, which is just terrible.
Can you show me the stat that shows in the 21st century showing minorities have a harder time getting an ID than whites? Jim Crow was horrendous and an ID is something that literally every adult I know has one. 90% of my 18 year old students have legal IDs.

Republicans think it’s cool to sell Star of David thinking they’re in a Holocaust. Capitalism pressures the companies suppliers:
Clearly ignorant people to use the star of David to make a political point. The point they are trying to make is completely obliterated by the lack of awareness, just like comparing showing ID to Jim Crow laws. The difference few defend the hats while many are dumb enough to believe the Jim Crow.

If it came out that people were charging more for health insurance for people who owned guns, because they could point to increased accidental death risk...Would that be an attack on gun rights or a company saving money?
I said in my first comment that is was wrong what the NFL is doing but if a insurance company was using a behavior that a cost increase was warranted I am fine with it. The NFL is using something that is not able to be controlled so not a good comparison.

It’s a money situation based on race. That makes it impossible NOT to be a race situation.
Let me state it this way, the owners do not care about the race of the player they are screwing.

Then why was it included? Why not just give them less money?
Because to get by on the letter of the law you must have a law to justify your actions. If the NFL could somehow "norm" down all the players to an IQ of 80 after their playing days they would. This is a money situation not a race situation, but it is still wrong.

I like the pickup also, but I don't think they are able to win 10/17 with this run game. Also, I disagree about Trubisky being a top 20 QB (at the moment.) I do think he is a very intriguing prospect in the same ballpark as someone like Sam Darnold, both being high draft picks for big city/big market teams and not really put in the ideal position for success. Buffalo's media is definitely a far cry from Chicago's. I want to see how he does with less pressure, better coaching, and a superior offensive cast. I don't think the Bears took enough advantage of Mitch's speed & athleticism.
With Allen's physical style, there's a good chance he could miss a couple games, unfortunately. Plus, after the mistake of playing so many starters in the final Miami game and a tougher 17 game schedule, they will probably rest their starters the final 1-2 games (depending on the standings obviously.) If Trib can shine in those moments then he might land a decent contract next year. I just wish Buffalo could've signed him for a year or 2 longer so they'd be able to make a return on all the time developing him.
On the plus side, they have a year rental on a player similar to Allen to keep the offense chugging along in case (knock on wood) something were to happen. He's a solid upgrade to Matt Barkley and I like that the Bills are taking initiative this season getting better wherever they can whether it's backup QB or even punter. It's not that Trubisky is necessarily "better" than Barkley, they just wanted someone in a more similar mold. I think there's an advantage to that, but also one to have a backup that plays a completely different game come in and screw up the opp's game plan.
I watched a couple of bears games last year and he was not the biggest issue with that offense. I also looked at the list of QBs and I had him as my personal #19, but I would state he is no lower than 24th if you are being reasonable.
-
It is amazing to me that in under 5 years we went from chasing every decent player and having to convince them to come, to this, a top 20 QB deciding to come for less money just to play on a winner. I truly believe that if Trubisky had to start all 17 games we still win 10.

Racism, oh that? That was in the past. Right?
I wonder what a person who believes in Critical Race Theory would say about this?
How do you support the NFL then? You should be boycotting it till they make up for this injustice.

CNN loves to trot out this kind of drivel and compare right wingers to "experts". If the "expert" disagrees then the right winger is wrong. A literal "pandemic response expert"(he was trained by the govt in pandemic response measures) told me last July that Florida would catch and surpass NY in Covid deaths by Thanksgiving because we dared open. Of course he was wrong by a giant margin but he still states he was basically right because the FL went up a little.

This is in the politics section because I don't want it to shut down immediately. The NFL when dealing with concussions start blacks at a lower intelligence so blacks much show less intelligence to be able to claim injury. This is insane because how to you argue Donovan McNabb is dumber than Incognito or Ozzie Smith is dumber than Ryan leaf? I truly get why these guys are pissed about it.

I don't understand how it could be argued a clean hit, it was high, and he left his feet. The intent was to clean his clock and that hit has been outlawed. If intent was to save goal he dives to block shot, the hit was a message. Old school fans might have liked it but league has been getting rid of that for years.

I was discussing through text this with a friend exactly how much lying happened with the Corona origin and I was literally called a Qanon believer because the person I was discussing with still believes the information available last year was honestly presented. I gave up after that.

Just the first result that popped up but it mentions what I was talking about. Basically, studies have shown that more highways = more cars = same amount of traffic congestion (but with more cars). So you could argue it's a net positive if you're just trying to get more traffic into the city but it isn't really improving the flow of traffic the way urban planners used to think it would. They call this effect "induced demand".
I understand it now, but I think they are trying to make a cause and effect relationship, which while related are likely more related to simply larger groups of people in the area. This relationship is true in my area but we are expanding it based on people already here. The numbers are clearly correct but I think the impetus wrong. Thanks for showing me this though, I had never given it any thought

If I have to pick one it is the final drive of half vs Colts. It fits all the criteria- difficult situation, efficient, long, multiple great plays, 4th down converted, a TD, and we win the game.

Why exactly would the Bears want to get rid of a top 5 DE in his prime ? Who they traded a bunch of picks for, and would crush their cap ?
Just wondering? 😎
Why are you crushing our dreams? Basically we would have to offer 3 1st round picks, 2 for his talent and one for the insanely good contract that is left.

When was the klan run by a Black/Hispanic guy? Stop being so proud of your ignorance. I will never be a proud boy but to compare them to the klan is either ignorant or disengenous.

I don't remember if it was mentioned in the article or if I read it elsewhere, but one thing I learned recently that was pretty fascinating is that a lot of studies have shown that highways don't actually improve traffic congestion at all. So theoretically, the point would apply to cities that aren't shrinking as well. But also, the article mentions Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, etc. and I don't think those areas are shrinking.
That seems illogical unless people are going out of their way to get to the higher speed roads, which I guess is possible In Orlando I rarely take I-4 because it is not the best way but if I need to go straight across town I always take the highways

Didn’t watch the video, but was the TD throw to Diggs at the end of the game vs Arizona listed? That was the best, clutch throw I’ve seen Josh make yet.
That was the throw that I realized he might be the best QB in the league- in that situation I would have said that throw was impossible until I saw it.
