I am not good at determining which CB plays the right style for our defense but if a CB is not the BPA at that point in draft I will be surprised. This appears to be a deep draft for CBs from what I am reading and we could certainly use another one if Wallace leaves.

I believe we will do these things which help us greatly: 1) get Beasley to take less money to stay, which I think he does since so many WR are available this year. 2) restructuring Diggs, Dawkins and Williams to free up some cash. 3) spend money for an impact Edge rusher around 10 million a year. 4) drafting the best CB in draft with first pick, since DB draft is deep.

The fact that you will believe that a student in NY is safer than a student in Idaho makes you gullible. NYC has over 500 high schools and 20 or less are top notch, about 80 are decent and 400 are complete garbage. I have a school down the street that has international students at it. A few schools does make the whole district work.

I like the fact that you want to discuss states but not local deep blue places, NYC has some of the worst schools in the country but the more conservative areas raise the whole state. Even in GA the lowest scores are in deep blue ATL. My point was clear as is your inability to respond.

I am sorry but this list is complete garbage, in what world is a NY student safer than an Idaho student? Not just a little safer but much safer? (10 vs 50) that being said judging schools on numbers without mainly discussing results is not very valid.

The amount of people on here who seem to enjoy being made to look stupid by the media is astounding. You might not be aware that all Trudeau won was one district where he got 25k votes. After that it was the parties that voted him as leader.

These are definitely two of the larger reasons, I maintain high standards because it is important to me but the difference in raise between a top 5% teacher in my district and barely top 80% teacher is exactly $0. Thankfully I have been able to ensure my kids have the top tier teachers each year.

I am not simply trying to score political points here but today we received the list of schools in Orange County Florida that can start recruiting teachers in order to help improve their academic standing. These schools that performing poorly are all in the Democrat voting sections of town. Literally not one is is in a red voting part of town and most of them are in the darkest blue on the voting map. The quality of parenting in this country is splitting into two distinct camps and it feels like it is becoming more 50/50 when I think I was a kid it was 80/20. Some parents legitimately think it is a schools and societies job to raise their children, while I believe that school should educate them in topics I can't and I raise them. The better schools generally have the parents like me, and the lessor schools have the other. But as far as good teachers at bad schools not many exist anymore because they are not allowed to enforce rules, if the principal from "Stand by Me" tried to fix those schools he would be stopped by federal laws. Last point, I had a discussion with a black student who told me that they call the police 7-8 times a year when they have family disagreements, how do I teach life skills to a person who thinks calling the police is acceptable but then bashes police for being racist?

Reading the details of trial reminds of how messed up our trial system can be. Instead of simply laying out facts both sides are trying for a narrative that is 10% fact based and the rest story time. Dude is hopefully found guilty.

The A's is simple, many teachers give an A as long as you don't do wrong. Also some students have so many accomodations that as a teacher if you can't prove you followed them all you had better give a good grade or your job is on the line. None of it is acceptable but it is the way things work in too many places because teachers are not allowed to hold kids accountable.

There are two minor defenses for this: one is that the parent is required to do withdrawal paperwork to remove their child from their school, which likely was never done. Second: since child went to a likely a poor performing school she likely had many classes with subs/ non permanent teachers who simply call a name and if a child responds they are marked present. That being said it is pathetic that a child can be missing that much and no one at the school is aware or trying to fix situation.
