CB is much more of a need but we should still take BPA unless it is QB.

OT: The sudden existential crisis in New England
Orlando Buffalo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, last year was about perfect for me that way. My FIL is a Pats* fan and the last time I saw him before last week was a few days before week 16. He told me that Josh could not do it, that we simply were not good enough, and that the wind game was not a fluke. Of course then Josh scored 11 tds along with 2 fgs over 14 drives and last week he was not such a fan anymore. -
It is the off season- just clean this crap up by the regular season😄
-
If the Pats* are gonna overpay him then we can't do anything about it. Also if they are offering 3 years at 6 million a year he has to at least consider it since player careers are so short
-
He will be used on the edge to get a QB, by the roles we have had the past two years he is definitely not a LB.

I don't want a WR that early but I think you are correct, both positions are loaded this draft and I would be surprised if two of first three are not those two positions. What I read was his salary this year is $7 million but part of his signing bonus will have to hit this year also meaning he will cost low teens

When Shaq and Phillips were here in 2019 they were starters, now they are definitely backups. We have definitely improved ourselves along the line though sometimes it does not seem it

https://www.yahoo.com/news/republicans-push-crackdown-crime-wave-115332733.html The article is pretty funny because you have to believe all of these things at the same times that no one with an IQ above 50 believes: 1) is that voter fraud is easily determined once the ballot is cast. 2) that with billions and trillion of dollars at stake that dishonest people will not exploit loopholes. 3) that making rules to vote that are clear and not ambiguous is a detriment to society. 4) most importantly that ballot security is not the cornerstone of a free and valid election. If anyone can get a ballot and fill it out for another then the entire election is not secure.

So...where does this money come from for Von???
Orlando Buffalo replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
After watching the Saints and KC run their numbers voodoo I don't worry too much but especially after seeing GB play their game with Rodgers the obvious answer is you can keep putting off that bill for at least a decade so long as the cap keeps rising. -
Breaking: Von Miller to bills, 6 year , 120 million
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I have put too much thought into this but I have good possibilities and bad possibilities: Good- 3 Super Bowls due to him being a beast, he teaches Groot and Epenesa how to do what he does, and remains strong all three years until we have a hard decision in 2025 if to keep him. Bad- he gets injured. Unless he is injured he will likely be at worst a little overpaid, but his leadership and setting of example should not be overlooked. -
I think they are the best comparison and I agree with your assessment.

Harrison Phillips to Vikings, 3 year 19.5 million
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
If this is true they are dumb- though Jeff Wright made it work with Bruce Smith all those years -
Your extrapolation is done poorly because he played only against teams he would help against, so that 3.5 sacks likely is only 5 total against everyone. Secondly he is a one trick pony that is useful at times but not against everyone. Truly your point is correct, I think we should figure out a way to duplicate the brilliance of Trump and make our country a net exporter of energy vs importing it from these bad guys. This is the directive from the Bill In 2024, for instance, regulators should stop letting utilities connect new customers to their gas distribution lines for free, according to the plan. In 2030, home and apartment owners should be banned from replacing their old fossil fuel equipment with anything but zero-emission versions. By 2035, the biggest types of buildings, of 50,000 square feet and up, should be forced to retire their fossil fuel equipment early So he is off about the homes being required but starting 2030 you can't replace it anymore. I know it is your state and not mine but I figured I would help you out; maybe you should call me Santa Claus since I help you but you never give me any thing of worth in return

Tremaine Edmunds contract comparison
Orlando Buffalo replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Edmunds hits free agency he will get $15 million a year for 3 years so two more years at $50 total would be an easy yes. People still don't understand how much ground he covers and how much they ask him to do. -
I think that we as fans need to recognize something with McBeane, which I am happy about, and that is our plan is long term success and as long as we have JA17 the rest of the team will likely be built by value free agents. I do not expect any major signings unless someone is going to take less than market value, like Allen Robinson if his main goal is just to win now.

Are We Setting Ourselves Up For Disappointment?
Orlando Buffalo replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you expect a big time signing then you are likely to be disappointed, if you just want a winning season then you are being realistic.
