No one is stating the future is not renewables but your comments make it seem that you believe by 2025 we will be able to transition to solar and wind. But to answer your question about why so much is spent on renewables is that whoever finds a way to make solar efficient enough, along with battery capacity, will be a trillionaire. We will get there and I hope it will be in my lifetime but simply restricting the fossil fuel options is not going to make it happen any faster.

Any argument that relies on the fact that the Secret Service allowed a sitting president to speak in front of people with AR-15 rifles present is invalid. The Secret Service would not have allowed Trump to get up until they had removed all known armed people in the crowd because if any one of them was anti Trump he could easily kill the president.

I have a real question- what will be policy for companies that are paying for women to travel to get abortions if women travels and then changes her mind? I know it happens sometimes but what is to stop a women from simply traveling for a vacation when she gets pregnant? I just see a lot of privacy issues popping up from these policies that will be interesting to watch.

Some states will enact long arm statutes to punish people seeking abortions elsewhere. This can't happen, you can't arrest someone for breaking one of your laws in another state where it is legal. Pot would not be able to be smoked elsewhere if this was true People in some states will have more rights than people in other states. Already true, along with Pot in many places we have more gun rights than in NY. People in some states may be prosecuted for miscarriages, needing to spend money on a lawyer to fight the charges. If this happens I will vehemently fight it but this is like the people who argued that stand your ground would cause a wild west situation. Taxpayers in some states will have to pay for care for people fleeing other states for medical care. Why would you have to pay for medical care for someone from out of state? In Florida we bill the insurance of people from out of state. Unless you are insinuating that people who get abortions don't have insurance?
