To double up on the "stay in the right area" in Baltimore my brother in law was staying for some conference and he and 8 guys, half of them who are army rangers, went running and at one street the local guy told them to stop and turn around because the next block was not safe for army rangers -

I did not read the article, just saw the graph and heard the narrative for 20 years- what does the article say it means? -

Charge the people making threats for making threats, not sure how that is related to separation of church and state? As for Boebert she and you are completely incorrect just in opposite directions. But I give you credit on finding someone as clueless as you are -
I have changed schools to now I teach at a school where legitimately the average income of the households is probably 1M+ from my school which was much poorer. At my prior school all my students were "special needs" in their own way but the vast majority needed these designations, now I have 40% of my students with some version of a special designation who mainly just need a kick in the butt. When did having a "disabled" child become a mark of pride. I love my children and help them be their best selves, not teach them how to force everyone to be responsible for your needs.

What does this event have to do with the second amendment or even the comment from Jefferson you are referring? Or do you think that line means church should not influence politics? -
What the 87,000 new IRS Agents are for......
Orlando Buffalo replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The total wage earners over 400k in the country number only about 3 million. If you have 100k agents and they do 10 audits a year than each of those people will be audited once every three years. Talk about a quick way to destroy any support. -

I actually openly oppose that, why are you ok with burning children? -

DeSantis For President in 2024?
Orlando Buffalo replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So you think all European women aren't free? Or at you just going to remain ignorant of that most of Europe has a ban after 12 weeks while Florida has a 15 week. I would say this kind of comment is beneath you but it is definitely expected -

I know we will not agree but he is not simply getting in on the culture war. He has obvious political ambition and does play that game well but his decisions have helped Florida become the most free state in the Union. -

His intent is not to harm Disney, it is to help Florida. The fact that you admit Disney doing well is not a bad thing for him makes your initial statement just a political hack move. -

Orlando Buffalo replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How does the largest company in the state making a ton of money hurt DeSantis? As of this point they have not bankrolled either of his opponents so I don't think they are too upset with him. -

You literally are accusing me of discrimination against people who want to discuss sex acts with children and expect me to be bothered by that? I absolutely discriminate against people who want to discuss sex acts with children -

As I stated you liberals have to pretend to be offended. Or in your case maybe discussing who touches your privates with a 5 year old is important. -
NFL reffing focus (roughing the passer/illegal contact)
Orlando Buffalo replied to Watkins101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just consistently call what ever you want, I hated watching the Jags game but it was consistently bad calls all game, so I accepted it and moved on. The Bucs game pissed me off because the calls were wrong only one way, games like that make it hard to watch the NFL. -

Many here know I teach high school in Orlando and this past week was preplan week. We had meetings about lots of stupid crap but the most confusing one was the meeting in regards to the parental rights bill. Several liberals actually pretended to be confused about how it affects us. Since we don't deal with 5 year olds the only real impact is that if a parent asks what name the child goes by we must be honest with the parent unless we think abuse would be likely. If we think abuse is likely we must call DCF, all of which is actually not new. These rules turned into a 45 minute complaint session for 4 people, out of the 45 in room, one who actually said " I know what these kids need more than the parents". It was appalling from what was supposed to be professional people
