In the NFC they probably should make the playoffs with their talent level so I ask, are you predicting them to make SB or just playoffs?

Most of us know that week one can be the most ridiculous week for making prognostications so I am curious who we think is destined to be great but sucked along with sucks but showed up this week. I have two each way: GB and Colts get it together and make playoffs. Both had a new QB/WR combo and I think both get worked out. I also think that Cincinnati is in for world of hurt this year along with the 49ers, who I know lost, but the announcers are acting like it is a forgone conclusion that they will turn it around. Cincy is not sneaking up on anyone and that line might not have improved. Trey Lance yesterday reminded my of Josh is first 5 games.

They look much better but making too much of week 1 in NFL is a bad idea. You want the win but don't look too much into it otherwise.

It is inexcusable to go with a game plan that puts up 31 on the defending SB champs? So if Singletary got all the carries but hurt at the end of game due to being tired that would be better? The plan worked very well and except for his fumble, which was terrible, he was fine.

Any summation of a season after the first game is absurd, but any comments of "this won't stand" when you just won by 3 TDS vs the SB champs in a game is a level of stupidity I hope to never reach.

And you prove my point better than I can, Biden is president but that election was beneath our standards, in 1948 we counted all the ballots in under 24 hours but in 2020 it takes 5 days. The election was run terribly but that does not change the fact that Biden is president. I appreciate you proving my point for me.

We are being divided intentionally because so many people worry more about kindness than truth. We would rather lie and state "most secure election of all time" when it is absurd than admit the fact that our opposition got something correct. Right now some people are still arguing that the lockdowns through most of 2021 were a good idea, when there is no evidence it saved many lives and lots of evidence it damaged the lives of almost everyone else. It would be mean to point out that we screwed up apparently.

I am sorry but calling our country a Republic is a threat to our democracy according to Biden, please refrain from doing that

You and I are much closer than you realize, and since I work as a high school teacher I am more aware of it probably. My solution for the current kids screwed is the government takes over the loans at 2% interest rate and you allow them to declare bankruptcy from the debt if 2% is still too high. In the future government does not get involved in loans directly and schools are required to give out 30% of their tuition in loans per year per student, which will cause the cost of college to drop appreciably quickly. Currently there is a college in Florida that has offered my son 30k in grants to their school before he has even applied because the 35k price tag is absurd, no one should be even considering that school while actually paying 35k but you can get the loans for 35k a year while going to school there and just use the rest of money for anything you want. I do not believe that someone should be destroyed by a mistake at age 20 but the people with the most student debt I know went to expensive private schools or were in school more than 4 years because they wanted something other than just an education.

Changing energy plans takes years to agree to and then implement, if they have a cold winter we will have a lot of dead people in Europe due to lack of access to energy sources. They are in a rough situation due to poor planning during past 5 years

The entire European economy is falling apart and it is more to do with the lockdowns than anything else. We locked down less in US therefore our money was the least damaged, no country that truly locked down is coming out well

In this country there is one time in life it is better to be poor than rich, or middle class, and that is when applying for student aid. If you are truly poor then the amount of grants available are extensive. If you are poor, a first generation college student, and a good student then your education will be free to many quality schools. If you are simply poor and a decent student there is grants and work programs to get free room and board at community colleges, at least in Florida.

I my extended family the only people who had more than 30k in student loans at any time are now doctors. Of the 40+ cousins almost all have college degrees from state schools and some of us had to do community college for two years. I will state that 95% of people that have 50k of debt made bad decisions that were easily predictable but they want others to pay for their stupidity

We live in a republic and only an ignorant buffoon discusses protecting our "Democracy". Since it is a Republic Trump was our president, not Hillary. They are not actually similar.

Gas is up over 50% since Biden took over and the movie ticket promo is for one day. As for the chicken breast, $2 a lb is a good price for boneless breasts and I like Costco so good for them.
