If you read the press statement carefully it does not call the release a lie but stated something along the lines that it is what Russian Disinformation would look like, which is a true statement. As for what we were funding, I do believe it was COVID related and we knew from early 2020 that it was unlikely to harm children anymore than the flu but we still shut down schools for all that time. The government response was not just imperfect, it was terrible. The fact that Sweden has better has better numbers than we do states that our response did more damage than the virus. As for my distain for Fauci, the fact is he should have been more forthcoming with the facts that we had interests in that lab and not have been one of the liars that it was a conspiracy theory.

This just popped up on my Twitter feed, it is from a couple years ago, but I actually watched the whole thing and it would be a brilliant parody if not from a "journalist". He multiple times says things like " not the way Republicans mean" but does not explain what R's mean. Basically he ignores that we are a Republic as in we are a nation of laws, and not one that changes with the whims of the people unless they change the law.
