  1. I live in an area with a lot of immigrants and first generation Americans and the trash analogy is very true. My low intelligent students, regardless of background, will often leave trash behind or write all over the desk, despite my providing paper whenever requested. As a reward I will buy donuts for classes that perform well on the final test, this year I had over 200 total donuts for the kids, and the only kids who did not clean up after themselves were the kids who did not perform well but were rewarded because their classmates did well. I will be redoing my incentives next year because I refuse to clean up a streak of chocolate icing along a desk because a kid was too lazy to use a napkin.
  2. Right now I feel like the only truly good thing from Trump is the removal of the illegal aliens. The rest of it he has acted like a Dem.
  3. That does certainly happen but usually requires a way to get a kid a D not an F. I will state that if what he is saying is straight up truth then the level it takes to "graduate" is much lower than FL, and I thought ours was too low.
  4. @The Frankish Reich They literally fired her for telling the truth. I don't trust any media absolutely but if you fire someone for telling the truth you are a garbage organization.
  5. I have not been able to confirm this so take it with a big grain of salt- but if this is true this is disgusting, literally he has not accomplished anything but gets a diploma. Truly how does one not get a diploma? My question is whether that is just his quarter grades because I have kids who failed the 4th quarter badly who passed because the lowest grade on the report card allowed is a 50% per quarter, so one 80% quarter makes it so you can't fail
  6. Hitler was very much a socialist, he took control of car making and other industries, and made many other industries either support him or put them out of business. Britannica seems to think banning unions was not socialist, he simply gave everyone the same rights across the board, they also argue that socialist don't imprison their political opponents, which is stupid on its surface and hilarious if you look at any version of history. Hitler was a violent socialist, which is not the norm, but he was every but a socialist
  7. If I am the owners I am probably not overly concerned about his successor, so long as the people he has around him can continue if something were to happen to him. Goddell has done right by the owners and has not screwed the fans as much as baseball, hockey and NBA has so I doubt they are punching him out soon.
  8. The timing of the pink powder couldn't have been better, that morning one of my coworkers was giving crap because Diggs is always at his best when he is new, so I was quickly able to ask where it goes from here.
  9. I get the Browns doing it a little bit the Vikings were a playoff team, seriously this is sad.
  10. Just because the largest "consensus" in US history was Joe Biden doesnt mean Americans are stupid, but you are correct that is prettying good evidence.
  11. Calling the place that has around 150 tourist visitors a year( NYS has less than 100 million) and has added 8 million residents in 25 years a crap hole is funny to me because it shows that you are still arguing against 1980 Florida.
  12. what is wrong with woman and how was she an editor at one of our largest newspaper?
  13. Why are Dems doing this? This is literally an 80-20 issue and they are on the wrong side.
  14. Then let me ask directly- did you believe the "experts" that protesting in 2020 was safe but going to a party with 10 people was dangerous?
  15. Post like this are so funny because no one my side believes this, we simply disagree on whether J6 was handled properly. The more info on J6 come out the more the FBI looks incompetent and complicit. But seeing as your side literally believed that COVID was dangerous but not if you stood in packed crowd to protest racism, I might not try such snark.
  16. Seeing as Elon has the highest net worth a big margin according to your own standard he is a better source for EVERYTHING! But you know that is a poor standard to judge someone's competence so I will let your comment slide.
  17. It is very kind of them to acknowledge that closing the schools was wrong. Of course it is far too little far too late. Not to mention the fact that it is admitting that they are not intelligent enough to realize the obvious when it happens, not the people I want in charge ever.
  18. Then why was it given temporary status with the DOT? I am not arguing with you, because that is a logical thought, but then the DOT is not approving it.
  19. I need to find on what grounds the judge is making this ruling. When this first happened it was a temporary program that needs DOT approval to continue, the DOT removed it's approval, how does a judge get to overrule that? It is possible the prior articles are incorrect but a judge should not have the ability to override an entire federal agency unless there is a clear violation of law, which there is not here.
  20. These two are supposed to have a idea of what young conservatives think? Dems need to get their crap together- I do not want a one party country but Dems are making themselves a joke beyond belief.
  21. We weren't flying blind, we knew in early March of 2020 that healthy people under 40 were extremely low risk. To force people with a literal 1 in a million chance of major illness to miss out on life to protect others was evil, especially children. My children never got the shots and were back in school in fall of 2020 but the fall out from those who did not go back to school is still coming.
  22. the ballotpedia link won't open on my phone and the jama one does not advocate for closing the schools and in my opinion states the damage done will have consequences far into the future.
  23. I am not sure where you think I am absolving any pro school lockdown people. I am showing that the "follow the science" people did not follow the science, but followed the politicians. Most doctors in 2020 said kids should be in school but that recommendation was not followed.
  24. I read it again and still see no mention of schools. Perhaps you can quote the place where they mention shutting down schools.
  25. The fact that something that is so widely known, and has been for 5 years now, is something I had to show support for is telling. I now am asking for one thing from you, can you show me one science type person who advocated for shutting schools down, not a politician.
