    I don’t think they gave up on him. If I recall he got hurt right before the season started and they had to scramble to find a replacement in Dan Carpenter.

    I don’t think that attrition is unusual. He also had the same DC until just this year. Even though he and Daboll don’t like each other, losing an OC to a HC position is not a stain.

    I blame us Bills fans for causing McDermott’s late game issues. We are always waiting for the other shoe to drop and that has caused him to coach tight.

    It would help if didn’t seem to have an agenda against McDermott from day one. I suspect it dates to how McDermott got Whaley replaced.

    Dorsey was a pretty natural pick. You often promote from within for a successful offense. Allen pushed hard for him.

    Back in the drought days we had all these scenarios about the Bills getting in and who had to lose. Generally I recall teams ahead losing enough but the Bills not doing their part. I think in the end 10-7 or better will get the Bills in but they have to get the wins.
