What made Taylor dynamic -- his ability to throw the long ball and run for a first down -- has been diminished. Not sure whether that was due to coaching, WR talent or defenses adjusting, but that is what is causing him to struggle this year in my opinion. Wish they could have brought Greg Roman back this year...

You people are not very good at reading a statute.

Some are bothered by a player not putting a hand over his heart, some are bothered by kneeling, some are bothered by fists in the air, some are bothered by people wearing hats, some are bothered by overly demonstrative stretches during the anthem, some are bothered by beer runs during the anthem, some are bothered by sitting, others would be bothered by banners being unfurled with controversial slogans, some would be bothered by players flipping the bird to the flag, others would draw the line at flipping two birds, some would draw the line at burning a mini U.S. flag during the anthem and maybe others would be okay with all that but would think that defecating on the field during the anthem would be pushing the envelope too much. Others throw sex toys on the field while the opponent is in the red zone.

McCoy's thing seemed out of place and not a part of what the team was doing. I believe that was the main thing Kelly criticized. If you are telling me the stretching was all part of some grand team gesture, then fine.

So the team decided they would stand or kneel together as one and McCoy would do this weird stretching thing on the side? Interesting.

I am hopeful we can replace the anthem with speeches against white supremacy and racial injustice before every game. If the players were the ones giving the speeches, that would be all the better. Players should also be permitted to put stickers on their helmets to support their favorite causes.

I can understand players wanting to respond to what Trump said, but I think they are making a mistake if they just embrace kneeling during the anthem. They should find a different way.
