  1. Why do we need to have either of them? There are plenty of better QBs out there who will be willing to backup, especially for a team with an unproven starter in front of them.
  2. Anyone who listens to ESPNRadio on the Internet... don't they have the worst stuff during breaks? Terrible music and the same public service ads over and over.
  3. I rather have Flute than Kordell, seriously.... Bring in the Dartmouth Wonder, he'll be a fine backup.
  4. Kordell Stewart =s Antwan Randel El in denial. We don't need a QB who can run to be a backup, we want a QB who can move around and rollout. MM isn't running an option offense....

  6. Sorry I missed that. Thanks for the info!
  7. I listen to ESPN Radio often, prefer Mike and Mike and Sports Bash. The only really one I liked was Tony Kornheiser's show, but that's off the air now... By the way wasn't the Sports Bash formerly "the Sports Brothers"? Why did they get rid of his brother? Anyone know?
  8. I just know that the term was a good way to increase the lengths of papers in middle and high school.... And I would say that immigrants from Africa can acceptably called "African" just like someone who moved from Japan can acceptably be called "Asian."
  9. Maybe they didn't intend to try to talk him into staying, but both TD and MM have publicly said that they made a big effort to bring in Bledsoe as a back-up next year and have him accept that role. If they intended to have a QB competition all along with JP and some other QB they wouldn't have tried to keep Bledsoe as a back-up. They simply don't want a competition here at all because they don't want a controversy. I sincerely doubt they will open up the starting position if they bring in anyone else. If Losman falters they may consider going to another QB on the roster, but that's it.

  11. Was that really a mess up call? Wasn't he just predicting a possible move?
  12. Donahoe and MM specifically said they wanted him back on the team as a backup. If the Bills wanted outside competition to begin with then, they wouldn't have tried to keep Bledsoe as a QB. Does it really make sense for him to be third string? They might as well have just cut him straight off the bat. Also, cutting him hasn't saved much money at all. The marginal cost of keeping Drew was what, 1.8 million? I am doubtful that we will get a competent backup for less than 1 million. Or does dead money not count? If JP has trouble beating out those three guys, I have doubts about his success next year. There is a reason why Charlie Batch has been as low as third on the depth chart in recent years. Brad Johnson is all right, but Gannon has a cracked vertebrae, doesn't he? He seems about done... *I still believe moving on to JP was the right thing to do.*
  13. You folks are just getting lazy!
  14. The truth of the matter is that everyone hear will drop support when players or coaches stop performing.... c'est la vie. Williams was a terrible head coach in the sense that he sucked at motivating players and making gameday decisions. He did help build a good defense here and he built a great one in DC. Perhaps he will be good HC next time, but his blaming his failure on Bledsoe's "execution" won't get him on that top of my head coaching list.
  15. Oh well, all threads have to die some day....
  16. Does anybody have the contract numbers for Bledsoe?
  17. When they post the text of this PC, please let us know.
  18. Does it surprise you that he said this? All people do is talk about how important it is to have mobility nowadays and what he says is valid. Of course he ignores the fact that being able to scramble is one thing, being to feel the rush is quite another...
  19. Every little bit helps...
  20. Why I like RW as an owner overall, his visage doesn't really inspire...
  21. Very true and we don't have to worry about his performance sucking later on and forcing another change, a la Drew Bledsoe...
  22. I think a lot of sports don't translate well to radio including any form of autoracing. Baseball is certainly the best in my mind because of the pace and the clear way of describing the action. I think football on the radio often has too much limitation. By the way, I used to think autoracing was as boring as all heck and none of my family or friends were into it. But, I have just started to give NASCAR a chance after learning more about the history and some of the strategy. I actually enjoyed watching a race, the Daytona 500, for the first time this year. I heard that NASCAR comes from racing the old moonshine cars that were made to outrun the police. Is this true?
  23. I would like to have some obscure player on the front like a Tim Euhus or Jeff Posey. That way we can avoid the curse doing much damage.
  24. It's still Henry on the front of TBD. Willis is only on the forum banner.
