  1. Just getting all the kinks worked out for our Super Bowl run next year.
  2. If there was a chance to nab hack in the third round I'd be all about that.
  3. I'll go out on the limb. Skins-steelers. Steelers win.
  4. He is our starting qb. Period. Hope he stays that way for years to come and continues to develop. Would be great to start drafting qbs to develop behind him.
  5. Fifth round pick and a lot of cap space.
  6. Did a pretty good job of shredding the Bills. Along with the rest of that division sans Kellen Moores Cowboys.
  7. Don't mind having the depth at all. Believe it or not, it can get worse at C and S. If the price is right, I hope we bring him back. He wants to be a bill and he is a good influence on the locker room
  8. People were real excited to trash Cousins this year. There is not hotter qb in football right now and he's on his way to the playoffs.
  9. Happy for him and wish him the best. Still would like to have a backup qb that can come in and at least give you a chance against a team lik the Jaguars.
  10. This is good analysis and confirms what many have suspected. Mario is unhappy and he's not putting forth effort on the field as a result. I think Ryan's scheme is trash, but I also think Mario is a baby for selling out like this. Sorry man, you were great with us for a couple years under Schwartz. But this effort is atrocious and makes me embarrassed as a fan of the team.
  11. Yeah he is not the best against the run, and that was apparent during his time here as well. He's an ideal Will. Great in pass coverage and a playmaker. But you can't coach that kind of ability. Ha! Hard to change direction in mid air when the running back moves to the side. Incredible athleticism and ability.
  12. Not sure why that's an automatic assumption. He took a team that was complete trash in the Lions and took them to the playoffs. Our team really seemed to like him and played hard for him. They carried him off the field in Detroit. Seems his attitude fit well with our guys. But of course we couldn't just promote success, so he was a non-consideration.
  13. If he were offered the HC position he might. Not for DC obviously.
  14. I can definitely see that the players are not bought into each other and holding each other accountable as they should. That attitude starts with the head coach, and a good head coach can sense when that's happening and start taking steps to correct it. Rex hasn't done that and frankly I don't think he knows how.
  15. He's going to get a second year at least. And worse yet, he will be dismantling this team in the process. Trying to get the right pieces for his "genius" defensive scheme. Meanwhile, the talent we do have will age, and good players will be lost.
  16. Pegs wanted to make a big splash and take the big chance that Ralph/the Bills were always afraid to take. In fairness, the fans were demanding it as well. Promoting Schwartz would have been the cheap, safe play. In hindsight, it would have been the right one. The defense was a juggernaut, and there was not reason to mess that up. Schwartz could have brought in someone to manage his defense. Possibly we don't acquire/start Tyrod if this happens? Possible. Might have been just as bad a year with Matt Cassel or EJ at QB. But I'm pretty certain the defense would not have slid to the extent it has.
  17. We should have hired Schwartz as head coach. We really missed on that one.
  18. Rex has really driven this team into the ditch. So much talent wasted with sloppy, undisciplined play. Romans gimmicks don't work, and Rex destroyed what was a great defense. There are no excuses left. The team is giving up on him out there today. I'm watching it in the stadium. Defensive players are throwing their hands up in confusion before the snap almost every play. No one knows what the hell is going on. Terribly coached, ill prepared team.
  19. NFL needs to start making referee a full time position. These guys are part time and most have other jobs. They should be working every M-F plus Sunday and spending all week reviewing film, reffing at practices, etc. It's absurd that they are this bad and have such little feel for the game. But, the NFL is too cheap to pay the taxes and benefits associated with full time employees so... here we are.
  20. Tyrod definitely has a lot to play for the last 3 weeks. He could play his way into a nice contract if he plays well enough.
  21. Oh no I completely agree. Defense is far more concerning than the gripes with the O in this thread and the additional ones you've pointed out above, which are valid. All in all the O is much improved over last year and very encouraging. Doesn't mean there aren't still big issues with it as a whole, like the point bolded above. The D's decline is a much bigger concern, but the O has a lot of room to improve, as well.
  22. Love when he says he never did anything like that when he was a player, then he gets shut down with a "there was no constant media attention, internet, or interest in you at all as an individual player Herm" line. He's a fool. What Shady said was hilarious, and justified IMO. He said he's not shaking Chip's hand. Big deal. Chip traded him without even calling him first to tell him. Shady is perfectly justified to not want to shake his hand.
  23. Did you win a Tim Hortons prize pack? What did it consist of?
  24. I'm with this. Just focus on the Bills getting it done. They need to win the games to get there. We can worry about tie breakers and all that nonsense in the last week of the year. If the Bills don't win, it's meaningless anyways. Just like last year vs. Oakland. Just get the job done first.
