  1. Yes, I clearly know nothing. Are you saying it was a timing route because that's what the announcers calling the game said? Good Intel. Here's what happened... That play had two designed routes, both going towards the sideline. Tyrod had two reads and stared at them the whole way. One of those (Percy) came wide open out of his out cut break. Tyrod saw it, delivered, and totally missed. An easy 5 yard pass he couldn't make. Sure, all QBs miss throws from time to time. But Tyrod misses more easy ones than just about any QB in the league this year. We've all seen it. I've rooted for him as hard as anyone. He does some spectacular things with his legs sometime. But he hasn't developed at all and has, in fact, regressed. He's just doesn't have the basic throwing/reading ability of a competent NFL QB. Sorry.
  2. I know at 5-5 it's too early to start evaluating cardale, but that's what we should be doing at this point. Tyrod can't make simple throws. Doesn't matter who is playing receiver. That missed out to Percy on a simple route that would have sealed the game is just inexcusable. Guy can run as good as anyone, but can't be a contender in the NFL if you can't throw.
  3. Jesus Tyrod. We're going nowhere than this guy.
  4. I don't think Blanton was taken off because of the penalty. Just a different defense.
  5. Those picks disguise how awful he has played this game. Blown coverage in the end zone was terrible. He looks slow. Jogged it after his first pick. Should have been 6. Soft as baby **** except when he can line up a guy like eifert who's off balance. He'll never lower the wood on someone who has a head of steam. Playing not to get hurt to get paid.
  6. This team is so poorly coached it's unbelievable. Rex still has done nothing about these penalties. Blanton comes off that field after a horrible personal foul, and not one coach walks up to talk to him. Someone has to say SOMETHING when a guy comes off after that. Awful.
  7. Just line up and play football. Why does Rex and his coaches always have to X and O everything to death.
  8. This. As timid and unwilling to push the ball down the field as Tyrod has been, which is hurting us badly, things are worse with EJ. The guy is a turnover waiting to happen, every time.
  9. Really well coached team on display here. Rex is clueless out there.
  10. The fact that the hammy was pulled when he hadn't played a snap yet this season makes it a little suspect, IMO. I've seen those happen at the beginning of camp in the past because guys showed up out of shape. That's usually when they happen, or the exact opposite... when the muscle is extremely worn down by exhaustion. That's where you see pulls like Shady's and the late season ones. I can't help but suspect that Marcel wasn't pushing himself to stay in shape and ready for the season leading up to coming back, and that led to the injury. I could be wrong.
  11. Hate to rain on the parade... but I have a hard time seeing him come right in and make an immediate impact. Doubt he's in shape both from having to take time off to rest the hamstring and also from just my personal belief that he didn't keep himself in shape during his suspension, which may have contributed to the hammy in the first place. Hope I'm wrong.
  12. I'd definitely feel better with a healthy Shady. Hopefully Woods is back and they coach Tyrod up that he needs to fire that pill quicker. I'm not chalking it up to a loss just yet.
  13. Should be a hefty fine coming at the very least. I was livid when he went out there to try and pat Aaron on the back to try and save face in front of the cameras. The players should have gone over there and got between them and not let him touch AW after how blatant and dirty that was. He didn't deserve to pat his back, and would have been really cool to see the Bills stop him from doing so. But it was on the Dolphins side of the field and near the end zone though, so that's tough I guess.
  14. 8-8 was what I thought going into the season. Looking at the remaining schedule, I still think that's the most likely outcome give or take a game. If they want to get to 10-6 and playoffs, they have to be able to win games at the end by driving for winning scores, regardless of what put them in that situation (run defense, ST, a few big plays here and there, whatever). This team doesn't really do that. Not complete enough to be a contender yet. Maybe they'll surprise us. Here's to hoping... Go Bills.
  15. Easy to sniff those out when there's no threat of the QB throwing intermediate routes.
  16. The problems with his game are still evident but we can all swallow them much easier after a win. I'm not calling for his head, just calling it like I see it. He's our best option at present.
  17. Obviously the Bills played poorly today and lost for a whole host of reasons, but that missed pass interference on Hunter was huge. If that is called correctly, first and goal on the 1. We probably score a TD and go up 2 scores and likely win. Just an awful missed call. Bad officiating crew today all around.
  18. Agreed. Just baffling decision making for a QB. That's a basic throw and catch. And our guy made an unacceptable decision on it.
  19. So... That's an 8-8 offensive game plan at best if that's the case. But there a lot of times today when he dropped straight back, but the default for him is always to scramble. There's no way there's never a pass worth throwing when he does a 5 step drop. But he never throws. Don't know if it's because he can't see or because he's just so afraid of throwing a pick that he won't throw into tight windows, but he has to make throws like that on occasion. He rarely drops straight back and just delivers.
  20. O line was bad. Defense obviously was horrible against the run (and Ajayi was obviously just a monster today). That missed PI on hunter in the end zone was huge. We get that, we probably get 7 and the win. Yes Tyrod didn't throw a pick, but he's not taking any chances that would even allow that. He is not passing the ball over the middle of the field at all. Really don't think he can see over the line. Receiving corps is obviously banged up, but there were plays where he just didn't see open receivers (see third down when he scrambled and had O'Leary wide open but elected to run and get stuffed instead).
  21. Tyrod doesn't pass over the middle anyways. Not worried about him there in coverage. He is not a run stuffer. Our o-line will do the job for whoever is toting the rock on Sunday.
  22. I agree. I think the other points above about throwing him in on passing downs sounds right too. Maybe his snaps are limited, but any in game experience is good at this point. Don't see the downside to him getting snaps if he's good to go.
  23. Eh... Kind of hoping Cardale steps up into that role. They're both trash.
  24. I think that's right. Even though those cops tried to use their status to rob McCoy's crew then tried to fight them and lost the fight. Then filed a butthurt lawsuit. But McCoy is smart to enough to know he should make doubly sure that people know he supports honest law enforcement.
