That's not true. The states with the weakest gun laws have the highest aggregate levels of gun violence. But don't let facts get in your way. If you're talking about cities, New Orleans is the worst for gun violence per capita. Chicago has the most, but if you control for population, it's levels are less than many other cities. Not trying to turn this thread political, even though it's already there, but real data is important.

I guess because it's Louisiana... I'm sure he will claim he was standing his ground if charged and if it makes it to trial, but amazing that he wasn't even charged yet. Gotta think he will be in the coming days, but just allowing him to walk out of there right away... pretty incredible.

The second half of the jags game was actually exciting football (rare in today's NFL). Back and forth, and the Bills came out on top. Fun to watch, and credit the team for pulling out a win.

Cutting seems extreme. The real cause for concern is that after Blanton came off after his penalty, not one Bills coach even came up and talked to him. Just awful from the Bills coaching staff. It can be a "hey man, come on now... Let's get smart" nice guy comment or a "You do that again and you won't play another snap this game" bad cop kind of comment, but someone has to say SOMETHING. My personal opinion is that this is emblematic of Rex and the undisciplined culture he creates, and that's why these penalties never get cleaned up.

Yeah... Like putting the team on your back at critical times and winning important games. Not just not losing games by not taking any risks, but being able to win games by making clutch throws at the right time. Leading a team to the playoffs. Those silly things that people want to see from top tier NFL QBs.
