  1. United States House of Representatives 6 (<2.7%) of 223 Republican Representatives voted against the resolution: Reps. Duncan (R-TN), Hostettler (R-IN), Houghton (R-NY), Leach (R-IA), Morella (R-MD), Paul (R-TX). 126 (~60.3%) of 209 Democratic Representatives voted against the resolution. Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution ... And only a clown would compare Ukraine to Iraq, a desperate clown
  2. 99%? No, not even close. Close to 100% Republicans did and about half of Dems did. The Democrats had far more people against the war And those people were clobbered with "Remember 9-11!!!" And Ukraine is nothing like the failed WMD war
  3. Stupid argument. First off, you are just complaining like an idiot. Secondly, of course we are pragmatic about where and when we do what we do. Too bad we were not more clear headed 20 years ago when you guys (ya ya, you deny it now, all Conservatives deny they supported the obvious and predictable disaster then) when we invaded Iraq
  4. https://www.prri.org/spotlight/prri-2022-american-values-atlas-religious-affiliation-updates-and-trends/ This group feels besieged because they are losing ground. “The newly-released 2022 supplement to the PRRI Census of American Religion — based on over 40,000 interviews conducted last year — confirms that the decline of white Christians (Americans who identify as white, non-Hispanic and Christian of any kind) as a proportion of the population continues unabated,” writes Robert P. Jones, president of the Public Religion Research Institute. “As recently as 2008, when our first Black president was elected, the U.S. was a majority (54%) white Christian country.” By 2014 the number had dropped to 47 percent, and in 2022 it stood at 42 percent. The group that has declined the most is at the core of the MAGA movement, the group most devoted to Christian nationalism. “White evangelical Protestants have experienced the steepest decline. As recently as 2006, white evangelical Protestants comprised nearly one-quarter of Americans (23%). By the time of Trump’s rise to power, their numbers had dipped to 16.8%,” Jones explains. “Today, white evangelical Protestants comprise only 13.6% of Americans.” Instead, White evangelicals might look at former “customers” who are abandoning organized religion in droves. “Nearly four in ten Americans ages 18-29 (38%) are religiously unaffiliated, an increase from 34% in 2021," the PRRI census said. "As the cohorts age, the growth in religiously unaffiliated Americans has started to show up more in the 30-49 age category, which is up to 32% unaffiliated from 26% in 2016.”
  5. I saw an old women arrested and a gas stove ripped out of her hands, it was shocking! The police wore green uniforms
  6. The connection between Religious evangelicals and Trump is the most open obvious scam in our time. Religion has been used to scam people forever, so it is nothing new, but the religious people riding this out and out scum bag for gain of worldly gain is pretty disgusting
  7. No, you did not understand what I wrote I trust his opinion. I do not in any way at all trust anything you say. I trust his opinion. I do not in any way at all trust anything you say.
  8. No, just a complete media ***** who will say anything to be on tv
  9. Probably broke, too. Trump hoping for some dark money being funnelled into his political campaign, but it might just not be there
  10. We announced prosecutions of the Nazi leaders before Japan had surrendered. The Japanese did not want the emperor prosecuted (or he didn't want to be) and therefore fought on. Did the announcement of prosecutions make dropping atomic bombs more likely? I've never seen scholarship on the issue but it is an interesting question and the United States was demanding unconditional surrender
  11. He basically begging Putin to help him. "I'll stop the war, I'll destroy our national security organizations, I'll get rid of NATO!" Help me Vlad, help me"
  12. Ha ha!!! I remember how he was going to win re-election if he was impeached, blah blah Will he run away to Russia?
  13. Ya, Putin sure hates it when people throw out his puppets
