Why weren’t the Bills allowed to play on the grass?
pi2000 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
The grass field at Tottenham Hotspur is designed specifically for soccer. The type of grass, tensile strength, moisture level, base layer, sub-layer, core, etc.. would not hold up to the rigors of an NFL game, ultimately resulting in hazardous conditions. -
6 The Dolfish are frauds and will be exposed like Washington last week. They beat the Chargers by 2 and Pats by 7. The teams they beat have a combined 2 wins on the season. This game won't even be close. 47-6 Bills

McD much better D coordinator than Frazier

So if Wash scored 35 against the Broncos and 3 against the Bills, and Miami scored 70 aganst the Broncos. Then Miami should score 6 points against Buffalo.- 209 replies

3 targets, 1 drop and 1 catch for 7 yards

They don't target rookies in this offense, doesn't matter how high they were dradted.... see Cook last year, JA didn't beat out Peterman in camp his rookie year either. I say he plays maybe 15% of snaps, 3 targets, 1 catch for 7 yards.

I'm optimistic heading into this season
pi2000 replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
There's reasons to be hopeful, and reasons to be concerned. Won't be surprised if they go 14-3 or 9-8. The one area I think they'll imrpove is pressuring QBs. McDermott calls a much more aggressive game than Frasier, should result in more turnovers. -

I share the same concern as well as durability... Suffered a back injury (compression fracture) his final year at Utah that kept him out months. -
Preseason Week 2 - Bills Vs. Steelers, what do you hope to see?
pi2000 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Raw rookie TE with only a few years experience playing the position coming off a back injury. I have doubts about his ability to process the game at NFL speed, as well as his durability. -

I'd like to see Kincaid flash. Hear nothing but rave reviews about his camp performance, but I'm skeptical. -
Jets sense frustration from Aaron Rodgers after spotty practice

I expect a dominant performance from the defense in week one. A healthy White, Hyde back, Rousseau taking another step and McD’s attacking style will give opposing offenses fits. -

Is there a livestream anywhere of the stadium construction? -
Utah is beautiful. Used to snowboard Brian Head every winter. Now hunt elk along the Wyoming border every October. Great place for outdoors stuff.

Love him as a prospect, but he's very very green as a TE. He has a lot to learn. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not on the gameday roster until mid-season. This team is in win now mode with an experienced TE already on the roster.

they don't use rookies 35 catches 375 yards 2 TD

4 Detroit Lions suspended for gambling violations
pi2000 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gambling is why there were never any pro teams in Vegas. That's changed obviously as the league is now in bed with major gambling franchises.... simply too much money to be made. That said, I agree with the swift and severe punishment for any player who bets on the league that employees them.... this is basically insider trading, and players should continue to face severe discipline for such infractions.
