He's under contract, he's not going anywhere. -

Chiefs - 42 Bills - 26 -
Bracket Kelce, rush 3, double spies on Mahomes with a late blitzer/rusher and prevent the big plays. If they do that and Buffalo can score 30+, they'll win.

Is the ball control offensive approach mostly to protect the defense?
pi2000 replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
I fully expect Josh to come our firing the ball Sunday. KC will be preparing all week to stop their rushing attack. Try to catch them in running sets early on, using the pass to setup the running game later on and grind them down. -

So, how is everyone feeling about this defense going into the playoffs?
pi2000 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
must score 30+ every game to have a chance.... do-able. -
So no fumbles lost by any RB, TE or WR the entire season? That has to be unprecedented.

Picked Cincy Burrow, Jackson, Mahomes gauntlet To be the best, you have to beat the best. Exorcise all the demons. Bring it on.

Week 16 - Patriots at Bills Game Week Thread (Game at 4:25pm ET)

Should we be concerned they'll be heading into the playoffs after playing 2 of the worst teams in football the previous 3 weeks? -
...another phantom hold (late flag too) to erase a Josh MVP moment, smh

An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
pi2000 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get why they accepted the penalty. Pushed them back out of field goal range, they get a stop or hold them to a few yards, they have to punt and then you only need a FG to tie the game. The sneak was the right call... the percentages on that play are much much higher than throwing it. Just need to get that in the endzone, I have no problem with play call.... but be ready to quickly run it again if it fails. If they pass on that play and Josh gets sacked, throws a pick or has to throw it away... then everybody is dumbfounded why they didn't just run the sneak. Bottom line, you can second guess the play calls, but it doesn't really matter when you can't get off the field on the third down the ENTIRE game. McVay absolutely owned Babich. -

Raiders @ Chiefs — Black Friday — 3 PM Eastern — Prime Video

The only player not ready for the snap was the QB. They had a silent count and the guard tapped the center. All the offensive players started when he snapped it. How is that a penalty? It shoulda just been a fumble and KC ball. It's whatever. KC won't get out of the divisional round anyway. -
Beane's done good but he also traded (now pro bowler) Wyatt Teller for 5th and 6th round draft picks... I of those picks ended up being your boy T. Bass and the other was part of the trade for Diggs.
-
Better question is why didn't they go for two at any point to try and get the point back? That's normally what teams do... especially against the Chief's where a FG could've won the game for KC if Allen didn't score.
-
IMO it's just Josh getting comfortable with him. He's been getting separation underneath and down field, but Josh just has never looked his way.... until yesterday.

Maybe they called the wrong number? Someone else could've been guilty. To play devils advocate, these "phantom" calls happen several times a game on both sides... just the timing of these calls sucked and they happened to score on one of them, after the flag was thrown. It happens... good teams overcome. That said, loved the reaction from the players and coaches. They took it in stride and moved on, didn't let it affect their play and didn't act out towards the refs. That's a sign of a well coached team.
