  1. Did they have a great draft? Based on what? I'll agree they had a great draft when the drafted players play great in a season.
  2. Considering he signed BEFORE camp and DID report to camp that's pretty weird that you think he didnt. LOL. Because they don't consider him the best safety in the league. If they did they would have paid him by now. He asked for #1 money. They're not giving him #1 money. They don't think he is #1.
  3. Manning said he wasn't going to test free agency. Where are you getting this stuff from? He said from the beginning he would reach a deal with the Colts. Your other points are well taken though.
  4. Well, yeah sure, but I highly doubt they franchise him again. He never held out. Look it up. Google is our friend.
  5. To be fair, the Colts and Peyton both acknowledged they were in no rush to sign a deal because Peyton couldn't practice anyway. There was no pressing need. He never held out. The rest of the stuff, including what his brother makes, not sure the point of all that. But ok. He won't be on the team next year. He'll hold out until 3 says before opening day, report in time to get his game check, play the season and then sign somewhere else in the offseason. That's his plan.
  6. Wow. That's a 24 play increase over last years average.
  7. "While I appreciate Jim Irsay offering to make me the highest-paid player, I told him I'd rather he save that money and keep whoever it is - Joe Addai, Charlie Johnson, whoever that may be. I'm willing to take less than they've offered if they are going to take that money to keep players we need to keep and go get other players. All I want is for them to have the cap and the cash to keep the players they want to keep and to sign other players." - Peyton Manning If he plays Pro Bowl caliber again no amount of money will keep him in Buffalo. He wants out.
  8. Meh. He was playing against the Colts 4th stringers. Even during EJ's best drive (the 2 minute TD) was against the Colts 3rd stringers. I understand that optimism isn't bad, but don't get your hopes up too much. The more you feel up, the further you fall when you realize they aren't as good as you though.
  9. First, I haven't been wrong about anything in this thread. Two, perhaps you should read what I was responding to and you would see that what I said has nothing to do with what you are claiming. I don't need to prove it. You made the claim. The burden of proof is on you. And his injury was after only a few dozen runs. Not late in the season. Which further negates your point. Once again, Brady was injured a few plays into his season. Does that mean Brady is fragile, or that they should limit his playing time? Ludicrous. Except its not. Your support is that Spiller was injured early in a season where he received the most carries he has had. Lynch is in his prime right now... I see many people don't actually pay attention to anything outside of Buffalo. Lynch was an All Pro candidate last season.
  10. Lol WTF is this thread? I think my little nephew does these sort of things when watching a game. It's preseason. Those may all very well be true. But this is a Bills message board. No one cares about the Eagles. WTF is this thread about other than to bash the Eagles on a Bills board?
  11. That's not evidence. If it was, then one could say that Tom Brady would be hurt if he threw a couple more times. Remember he got hurt against the chiefs? And that was after only a few plays! 10 more pounds of force and he could have broken his entire leg.
  12. That sacks are not an indicator of a poor/good offensive line or a poor/good coach. The thread title is "Did Gailey and Fitz make the Oline look better than it is?" And then went on to point to sacks as an identifying factor. Therefore, I am illustrating that sacks are not an indicator of what was said. If you don't like Pro Bowls, we can look at playoff appearances. 8 of the top 10 made the playoffs in the last two years.
  13. Pretended to anyway.
  14. Sacks in general are completely overrated. Here are the top 10 sacked QB's in the league last season: Aaron Rodgers - Pro Bowler, Super Bowl Winner Philip Rivers - Pro Bowler Andy Dalton - Pro Bowler Andrew Luck - Pro Bowler Jay Cutler - Pro Bowler Cam Newton - Pro Bowler Tony Romo - Pro Bowler Sam Bradford - Pro Bowler Joe Flacco - Pro Bowler, Super Bowl Winner Ryan Tannehil Enough said. Unfortunately, throwing the ball quickly at the feet of receivers isn't an accomplishment.
  15. I posted this earlier, but the top 5 RB's in the league last year all got 20+ carries a game. It's normal. CJ rarely takes a bit hit. He's very good at avoiding those. That will only add years to his career.
  16. Yes. He certainly will. That's why I'm done discussing this with him.
  17. YPC is linear. It does not deviate because one player has less carries. We get it, you love Fred Jackson.
  18. Gore is about equal. Johnson has never had a season under 1400 yards so I'm not sure how you think Fredex is better?
  19. Agreed. But that was 2011. In 2011 Mark Sanchez was bringing the Jets to the AFC Championship. In 2011 Ryan Fitzpatrick was thought to be our franchise QB. IN 2011 London Fletcher was a Pro Bowl quality LB. A lot has changed since 2011. Lynch had 1800 yards and was an all pro candidate cause he got more carries? ok.. Lynch averages a yard more per carry than Fjax too. I now see that your the forum jester. You will argue a point no matter how wrong you are.
  20. I don't even know what to say. You just said Marshawn Lynch is no more of a top 10 back than FJax is. You must not pay attention to the NFL. Lynch has been a top 5 back for almost 2 seasons now. He had 1800 yards at 12 TD's last season and 1400 yards and 13 TD's the season before that. He was an All Pro candidate last year.
  21. Absolutely. And also it's silly to say Chris Johnson is the reason Tennessee loses. Or even that Tennessee is better off without him. Or even that a good running game doesn't help a team, no matter how poor the rest of the team is.
  22. Wow, you're having an incredibly hard time following this conversation. What I'm saying is that a good RB who gains lots of yards NEVER hurts an offense. And as long as his QB and defense isn't awful, you can ride that RB to the playoffs. Just like Minnesota did last season. If you have a RB who gains lots of yardage plus a good QB plus a good defense, you're going to win the Super Bowl. There is a difference between having all those and just not having a QB and Defense that are crappy. Problem is Chris Johnson is Tennessee's only threat and their QB and Defense is crappy. I'm not sure what you're not understanding. I'm also not sure what your point is in general.
  23. Alfred Morris is a very good RB. He is no creation.
  24. Well, actually, they do. More yards = more first downs = more points. As long as you have a decent QB and decent defense that is a recipe for winning. Of the top 11 rushing teams last season, 8 of the 11 made then playoffs last season. One of them won the Superbowl. Another one was the opposing team in the SB. That says something.
