  1. Tom Brady, say hello to Marcel Dareus, I think you're going to like him.
  2. can someone please explain what this means
  3. half the people here clearly skipped your second paragraph. come on people. still - maybe give them a better of an idea w/ where you're going in thread title.
  4. nice to read that kind of thing once in a while. hope you're right!
  5. my thoughts when i clicked on this thread: good thing we have watkins instead of this clown! my thoughts after watching the video: damn - dont f***k with mike evans, that boy hard!
  6. @ChrisBrownBills: Ross Cockrell probably had defensive play of day for #Bills. On a deep pass play Cockrell tipped pass, gathered himself & made INT off tip. -------------------- That's the sort of thing I've gotten used to reading about Ross Cockrell once a week - he's been flashing all camp. Cockrell has the skills to get it done at an NFL level. If the Donnie Henderson can coach him into getting it done consistently (and if there's any Bills positional coach I believe in, it's Donnie Henderson), I think this kid will end up being one of our better late-round steals since Kyle Williams. I'm not saying I believe he's a guaranteed Richard Sherman, but I think Whaley has set up the Bills to have a strong defensive backfield for the next half decade. As McKelvin and Graham reach their 30's we can transition to into one of the best secondaries in the NFL with veterans Stephon Gilmore and Aaron Williams leading up a talented group including Ross Cockrell and Nickell Robey.
  7. how did these leggings finagle their way into their very own thread
  8. yeah, see me, i'd probably start by changing his completion percentage from 58.8% to 100%
  9. sammy watkins is poised to yield one of the largest improvements to his team of any rookie (along with j. matthews, j. clowney, a. donald, and b. cooks). im not sure how people consider the addition a prospect on par with aj and julio a non-improvement.

  11. their D will have nothing on they cowboys this year. and yes, they have improved. a totally revamped d-line (+allen, houston, etc), and they drafted one of the best, if not the best, corner in the draft: kyle fuller. not to mention that they have one of the most stacked offenses in the nfl.
  12. all but a small handful of teams are utilizing the dreaded RBBC - and their running backs are the ones going in the top ten. RBBC is just part of fantasy football now.
  13. I have a PPR fantasy draft coming up in the next few days and I'm giving Spiller a look as a late 3rd round, early 4th round option. Last year, I stayed away from Spiller (top-5 was just too high for the kid), but this year, he's going around pick 34 - which seems like good value, especially in a PPR format. My worry is that he'll score < 5 TDs because Hackett will play either Dixon or Freddy once the offense gets down to the redzone. Spiller has looked hot in the preseason, but he hasn't stayed in the games long enough to determine whether he'll get a share of the redone carries, so my question to you is (especially for those of you who attend training camp at John Fisher)... Has Spiller been taking redzone reps in training camp, or are all carries beyond the 10-yard line given exclusively to Boobie and Freddy?
  14. Ah, whoops, I misinterpreted the fella. Although still, if were talking best picks in terms of value, its going to be hard for Sammy to beat out Kyle Williams in the fifth round, especially with Sammy's asking price at two firsts and a fourth.
  15. Not saying a lot? Tom Brady. Aaron Rodgers. Andrew Luck. J.J. Watt. Calvin Johnson.... I can keep going if you'd like.
  16. I know he muffed one, but once the ball was in his hands, the kid had moves! Do you think Marrone will leave him back there once Leodis is in the lineup?
  17. It seems just as likely to me that the author simply forgot about the Bills and EJ Manuel as it does that he considered EJ, but could think of seven worse quarterbacks.
  18. well no to this but id love to see them give henderson a shot at the starting RT job
  19. to my eyes, two were at the L.O.S. and not EJ's fault and one (the pass to Sammy in the redone, batted by an LB well behind the L.O.S.) was on EJ. combine that with the fact that the endzone pass to MW should have been caught (see the photo), and you get that EJ went 3/5, for 42 yards and 1 TD (instead of his actual 2/7 for 19 yards and 0 TDs). that being said - it seems a little early to be making excuses for EJ. he needs to be good enough that we don't have to. 20. a bold way to kick off your TBD career
  21. The Cowboys will have the worst defense in the league....
  22. no to this nickname
  23. yes, an uphill climb into giving the browns a top-ten pick
