im thinking this is still net very bad for us. i've always thought it was pretty dumb when teams spend a lot in FA on players that are not their own, but suh is an exception. dude is a game-changer, especially alongside wake. suh's costing them about two mike wallaces - i'd way rather have one suh type player and just fill a UDFA at that second spot then sign two mike-wallace-level players. the suh signing is setting the dolphins up to compete with the bills for that #2 spot in the division, and i'm worried about it. jets and revis... somehow... not so worried.

and probably almost half of those 16 are WRs

foolish and wasteful may be extreme, but i agree that it's probably unwise. that said, if we dont sign any OL in FA, i would certainly take the over on "two out of six."

after the incognito signing, rex and whaley have both talked in separate interviews about how re-tooling the OL remains one of the primary focuses of the offseason - but no moves yet. wondering if this means that every pick we have in the 2015 draft will be OL. wouldn't necessarily mind that... was stoked on Tomlinson but it's looking more and more like he wont be there at 50. aj cann, shaq mason, and tre jackson are all names to watch.

he will be overpaid, and i hope it's not by us. reminds me a lot of the jerry hughes situation: earl thomas, richard sherman, and kam chancellor are his dareus, mario, and kyle. both players are solid-to-very good, but certainly reaped the benefits of the elite surrounding talent.
