  1. eh crap, a lot of buzz about dolphins taking a cb. my wr-to-the-dolphins prediction not looking so hot.
  2. he is not a suspect. this is a ridiculous thread.
  3. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000488805/article/bears-place-martellus-bennett-on-trade-block?campaign=Twitter_atn
  4. how do you do the quote an article thingy?
  5. if whaley's interest and this visit are for real, this leak is potentially disastrous. and as we are all aware, snitches get stitches.
  6. haha fck! i need the italics!
  7. To be fair, the 2011 draft may be one of the greatest of all time: JJ Watt, Richard Sherman, Tyron Smith, Cam Newton, Von Miller, Marcell Dareus, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Aldon Smith, Patrick Peterson, Justin Houston, Robert Quinn, DeMarco Murray, Mike Pouncey, Ryan Kerrigan, Cameron Jordan, Randall Cobb, Julius Thomas... absurd. Even Aaron Williams was that year.
  8. The draft is this week! Drop your draft predictions here. Here are a few of mine, based on nothing professional, mostly wild conjecture and stuff I've read on the internet: 1 - Bills first selection will be OL. They will draft RB and DL at some point in the draft. 2 - The Browns will trade up in the first round. 3 - Mariota will be drafted second overall, right after Winston. 4 - The Dolphins will pick up a WR in the first round. And he will be good. 5 - DJ Humphries and Randy Gregory are going to turn out to be huge steals. 6 - This year's RB class will be historic, and even better than last year's WR class.
  9. uh, could have been?
  10. oh yeah? well i'm glad we don't have a franchise quarterback!
  11. belichick usually average's something like 12-4 per season, so 9-4 ain't bad.
  12. not to be a prisoner of the moment - but i truly believe marrone will go down as the Bills biggest assh*le coach.
  13. there is no such thing as a "no-miss pick" (look no further than the top 3 picks of last years draft) but if you're looking for five "blue-chip" prospects: 1. leonard williams 2. kevin white 3. amari cooper 4. dante fowler 5. jameis winston all qualify. (jameis will be debated, but it really looks like his off-field concerns are not even close to as serious as they've been made out to be, and on-field, he's the second-best QB prospect of the last five years, after luck).
  14. very interesting we brought in gregory, whom you'd think we'd have no shot at, especially at 50. maybe the positive marijuana test is hurting his stock more than i thought it would? this kid would be a dynamite safety, and could put our defense at seattle-type levels. still, conventional wisdom says o-line.
  15. i think a lot of people see a spikes re-signing as very likely. that would give us three guys who are "actually linebackers" - enough to run a 4/3 (3 needed) or a 3/4 (2 needed). would that satiate you? those'd be the same 3 dudes we had last year on a pretty successful defense. and i think randell has a chance to be goo - so i'm filing him under depth.
  16. this made me spit out my drink. i was including the preseason games genius.
  17. holy crap! those first six games are hell. if we can get through that with 3 or 4 wins though... we are so yee
  18. what? with ajayi the concern is knee health - how is that analogous to a runningback with fumbling concerns?
  19. i will be dancing in my office if the gilmore deal comes in at those numbers.
  20. yeah, f*ck bpa - always draft based on nickname potential.
